Police officer, Sameer Wankhede rose to immense popularity after his involvement in Bollywood's Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's arrest in the alleged drug case. Although Aryan's case took a shocking turn, and the star kid got a clean chit just the following year, Sameer got entangled in a bribery case. As per reports, in 2023, the police officer also won the Rs. 25 crore alleged bribery case against the CBI's claims. But once again, the Enforcement Directorate registered a money laundering case on his name.
During Aryan Khan's ongoing case, Sameer Wankhede received a lot of criticism. However, what was more hampering his career was that there came reports of him seeking bribes from the actor. In May 2023, Sameer was booked by the CBI for the same, and the Mumbai NCB also conducted an internal vigilance probe against the officer, which led to the registration of a case.

Now, as per a report in the ETimes, the Enforcement Directorate has registered a money laundering case against Sameer due to the same alleged Rs. 25 crore bribe demand from Shah Rukh Khan. The complaint has been registered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, and former NCB officials are also summoned along with him. On the other hand, Sameer moved to Mumbai HC to seek protection.
For the unversed, it was in 2021 when Shah Rukh Khan and his family faced a huge media uproar after his son, Aryan, arrest regarding his alleged involvement in an intoxicant case. Narcotics Control Bureau reportedly arrested him after Sameer Wankhede allegedly booked the celebrity kid for the consumption of drugs. After 26 days and multiple bail rejections, Aryan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court due to a lack of evidence. And almost a year after this, Aryan finally got a clean chit.
Recently, SRK was named the Indian of the Year 2023. During his speech at the same event, the actor expressed his gratitude for winning the same. However, in one segment of the same speech, he also addressed his and his family's struggles in the past few years. Well, it was a subtle hint at Aryan's arrest. Thus, calling it bothersome and unpleasant, SRK stated:
“At a personal level, a little bit of bothersome and unpleasant things also happened to say the least which made me learn a lesson that be quiet, be very quiet and work hard with dignity. When you think everything is good, and still know it in your heart when everything is good, suddenly out of nowhere, whoom, life may come and hit you.”

On the work front, Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut with a web series titled Stardom. The much-sought-after star kid prefers to keep himself low-key, thus, he rarely shares anything on his social media. However, once he gave a glimpse of the preparation for his directorial debut, by sharing a 'not-so-clear' picture of the script that he has been writing. For the unversed, the young lad is in the final stages of writing the script for his web series, Stardom. According to an old report by TellyChakkar, Aryan’s directorial debut is being helmed under his father’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, and it would revolve around the day-to-day lifestyle of an actor.
