The famous Kannada television actor, Sampath J Ram is no longer with us. The shocking news of his untimely demise has shaken the entire entertainment industry. The actor had worked in so many renowned television shows, but it was his work in Agnisakshi and Sri Balaji Photo Studio that cemented his status as a household actor in the Kannada television industry. Unfortunately, the actor passed away at the age of 35, and the police investigation is in process.
On April 22, 2023, Sampath J Ram was found hanging at his residence in Nelamangala. As per the early reports, it was reported that the Kannada actor passed away due to suicide. However, recently, famous actor, Rajesh Dhruva took to his Instagram handle and posted a video in which he mourned the demise of his close friend. The actor shared how heartbreaking it is for him and his friends to face the reality that Sampath J Ram is no longer with them.

Further, in the video, while talking about how his friend, Sampath J Ram has passed away, Rajesh Dhruva shockingly revealed that his death was a result of a prank gone wrong. Yes! You read it right. Rajesh revealed that Sampath had an argument with his wife shortly before he died. Revealing what had exactly happened, Rajesh shared that in order to scare his pregnant wife, Sampath J Ram hanged himself. However, unfortunately, the prank went horribly wrong, which resulted in his death. The revelation shocked everyone as no one expected such a mishap in their wildest nightmares.
After Sampath J Ram’s shocking demise, his close friend, Rajesh Dhruva took to his Facebook handle and posted a series of pictures of his dear friend. Along with the pictures, Rajesh penned a heartbreaking note in the caption. In his note, he admitted that he didn’t have the strength to bear this separation. He also shared how Sampath would be a part of so many films and how so many challenging roles were yet to be portrayed by him in his professional acting career. At the end of his note, Rajesh painfully stated that he wanted to see him on the big screen again. His caption can be read as:
"We don’t have the strength to bear your separation. So many films are to be made yet. So many fights are left to be fought. There is still a lot of time to make your dreams come true. We still have to see you on the big stage. Come back please."

The entire South Indian industry is mourning the loss of Sampath J Ram, and one of the celebrities, who has gathered the courage to speak a few words on this tragedy is renowned actress, Vaisshanvi. The actress had worked with Sampath in a television show, and in a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Vaisshanvi shared how she is heartbroken at the moment and is worried about his friend’s pregnant wife. The actress admitted that Sampath’s wife is five months pregnant, and she cannot believe that her friend had done this unfortunate prank. However, Vaisshanvi also confirmed that he was on a good run professionally and was even running his own business.
