One of the most surprising things to happen in just the beginning of 2024 was Shoaib Malik’s third marriage. The Pakistani all-rounder got hitched with Lollywood actress, Sana Javed. On January 20, 2024, Shoaib took to his official Instagram account and announced the beginning of a new phase in his life in a collaborative Instagram with Sana. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Alhamdulillah. And We created you in pairs.”
For the unversed, Sana is a Pakistani actress, who debuted in showbiz in 2012. She has worked in several dramas such as Shehr-e-Zaat, Pyarey Afzal, Zara Yaad Kar, Ruswal, Dunk, Intezaar, Khaani and more. The 30-year-old actress is currently working on Ary Digital’s drama, Sukoon. On her personal front, Sana was previously married to Pakistani singer, Umair Jaswal. The duo tied the knot in 2020 and, unfortunately, parted ways in 2023.

On January 21, 2024, Sana Shoaib Malik reshared a post uploaded by H! Pakistan. The caption of the post stated that her now husband and Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik became the second cricketer and Asia’s first to score over 13,000 runs in T20 cricket. The batsman achieved the milestone while batting for Fortune Barishal against Rangpur Riders in the third game of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As soon as this news came in, Shoaib’s now-wife, Sana shared the same on her Instagram stories with the caption “MashaAllah so proud”, which was followed by a red heart emoji.
In the next story posted by Sana, she shared a post from a blogger named Irfanistan, who extended his heartfelt wishes to the newlywed couple, Sana and Shoaib. The person also took a handwritten prayer for their well-being to Makkah, one of the holy sites of the Muslims, as they embarked on the new phase of their lives. Sana shared the same and wrote atop it, "Ameen, thank you."

On January 22, 2024, the Pakistani actress uploaded a mushy picture with Shoaib. Sana shared a glimpse of one of her pre-wedding festivities, where the duo posed for the lens while being in each other’s embrace. Sana and Shoaib were seen in similar-hued outfits just like the ones they donned for their wedding. However, the addition of pretty garlands made of white roses set the outfits of their two ceremonies apart. Shoaib was wearing a white kurta, and Sana was donning a beautiful bridal joda featuring intricate threadwork. She was also flaunting her engagement ring and mehendi-laden hands.
