Sana Khan, who left acting in 2020, is in the news as she embraced motherhood. The gorgeousness, who said qubool hai to Anas Saiyad in an intimate wedding ceremony, welcomed her first child on July 5, 2023. Since then, the former actress has been talking about her new journey. Recently, Sana opened up about losing the pregnancy weight, and how it makes her paranoid when people start talking about it.
Like every other mom, Sana Khan also wants to lose her pregnancy weight, but not at the cost of compromising with her health. In an interview with The Times Of India, Sana Khan talked about how she gets paranoid when people talk about losing weight after pregnancy. The new mommy expressed that she doesn't want to believe that losing weight is more important than enjoying motherhood. She said:
"I get so paranoid when people talk about weight loss after pregnancy. Of course, everyone wants to lose weight, and so do I, but not at the cost of compromising on my health or or not eating what’s required for my child’s growth. A new mother s houldn’t be made to believe that losing weight is more important than enjoying motherhood. I would rather promote the idea of being healthy."

Sana Khan has named her son, Saiyad Tariq Jamil. The new mom revealed that they wanted a name that signifies gentleness and piousness. She shared the meaning of her son's name and added that Jamil means beauty and Taqiq means pleasant.
On July 5, 2023, Sana posted a cute video, announcing the arrival of their first child. In the video, we can see the tiny hands of their newborn baby. Further in the video, they thanked God with a note and expressed how he blessed them with a baby boy. The note in the video could be read as:
"Allah tala ne mukaddar mai likha phir usko pura kiya aur asaan kiya, Aur jab allah deta hai toh khush aur musarra ke saath deta hai. Toh Allah tala ne hame beta diya."

The doting parents, Sana and Anas also expressed their gratitude and called their son, 'Allah Ki Aamanat'. Alongside the video, Sana had written:
"May Allah make us the best version of ourselves for our Baby. Allah ki amanat hai behtareen banna hai. JazakAllah khair everyone for your love n dua’s that made our hearts n souls happy on this beautiful journey of ours."
