Bollywood celebrities often live under constant scrutiny, with discussion of their high entourage costs going on for a long time now. While there has been no conclusion on whether the demands are fair, it has led people to question whether stars have been overcatered to. Well, one of the most beloved designers, Sandeep Khosla, has now reacted to the same, and he seems to believe that the stars today are more 'unapproachable' than ever.
The top celebrity designer, Sandeep Khosla, has now slammed stars for being very unapproachable. In a recent interview, the designer, who is one-half of the iconic duo Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla, claimed that it has become very difficult to approach actors, primarily because of their multiple levels of management.

Sandeep Khosla revealed that it has become a nightmare to approach a celebrity, as they have to go through several people before they even get a chance to talk to the star. In a conversation with Fashionably Pernia, he was quoted as saying:
"In India, it’s a nightmare because you have to go through 25 people — the agency, the stylist, the stylist’s stylist, the third generation, the fifth person, the seventh person to get to an Indian celebrity. Till that time, you are like bye-bye, thank you very much."

In the same interview, when the interviewer added that stars today travel with a 'village', Sandeep also shared an anecdote about an Indian female actor. He claimed that the actress is so entitled that her behaviour reportedly intimidates air hostesses. He recalled how the actress wouldn't even look at anyone or greet them. He added that even if she wanted anything, her secretary would convey her needs, and everything would go to her through them. He was quoted as saying:
"I was in a friend’s private jet, and the air hostess was telling us wonderful anecdotes about Indian film stars. She said there is a particular heroine, when she boards of flight, we are actually petrified because she doesn’t wish us, she doesn’t look us in the eye, and if we ask her for water, she will not even acknowledge our presence and her secretary or the person she is with will say ‘yes, she will have water’ and then we will serve the water to the secretary, and she/he will serve the water to her. We have created these monsters."

In the same conversation, Sandeep Khosla further commented on the rising entourage cost. His statement comes at a time when Bollywood actors are also being slammed for their rising entourage costs. Recently, Karan Johar also expressed concern about actors' large entourages. The filmmaker explained that it is not a financial issue but an "ethical" one. Karan had expressed that the issue needs attention because actors also need to show some grace now. During a conversation with Komal Nahta on his YouTube channel, Game Changer, Karan stated:

"I have an ethical problem with entourages, not a financial one. We set a fixed budget for such needs. But if an actor wants anything beyond that, be it a personal trainer or specific dietary requirements, they should cover the cost themselves. I will pay for it only when it’s essential for the film, like in a sports drama requiring a certain physique."
