The life of a celebrity is always in the limelight. Indeed! Fame comes with a price as stars are constantly chased by their fans and paps, which breaches their privacy many times. Due to this reason, there have been many Bollywood stars who have been robbed and have faced incidents of theft and intrusion. Whether it is an intruder coming to their home and attacking them or die-hard fans invading the house of a star, celebrities have faced it all.
The emotional health of celebrities goes for a toss when theft incidents occur at their homes, as they are already juggling a public life. There have been stars such as Sangeeta Bijlani, Saif Ali Khan, and Aditya Roy Kapur, to name a few, whose private space has been intruded upon, despite having heavy security. Well, these are not just stories of stars being looted; such incidents are reminders that even if one has the most guarded life, intrusion and acts such as robbery cannot be escaped. Let us take a look at stars who had to pay a price for stardom.
Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend, Sangeeta Bijlani's farmhouse in Pune has been vandalised recently. A report by the Times Of India stated that items had been stolen, and the incident came into light when Sangeeta visited the property. It is located near Tikona village near Pawna Dam, and Sangeeta went to her farmhouse after four months. A complaint filed by her stated that the window grills and main door were broken, and a TV set also went missing, apart from that, other household items such as beds, fridge, as well as CCTVs were vandalised. Sangeeta, in her complaint, wrote:
"Today, I visited the farmhouse along with two of my maid servants. Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that the main door had been broken. Upon entering, I found the window grills were damaged, one television set was missing while another was broken."
Her complaint was addressed to Sandip Singh Gill, who is the Pune Rural Superintendent of Police. Sangeeta shared that she was unable to visit the farmhouse due to her dad's ill health. Sangeeta shared that the upper floor of her farmhouse was ransacked, with beds being broken, household items that went missing or were destroyed.
It was on January 16, 2025, when Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed six times after an intruder named, Mohammad Shariful Islam broke into his Satguru Sharan residence. Shariful aimed to commit robbery, and it was Saif and Kareena's househelp, Eliyama Philips, who spotted Shariful at Jeh's room. He had demanded a ransom of Rs. 1 crore, and when Saif had heard of her reported scream, he came. The actor in the scuffle was stabbed, but he ensured his kids, Taimur and Jeh, were safe. Saif had to undergo an emergency operation at Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, and within five days, he walked out like a lion. Mumbai Police have arrested Shariful, who at the moment is currently in police custody.

It was reported that the intruder who broke into Saif's house earlier had done a recce of Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat residence on January 14, 2025. However, due to tight security, the robber could not barge into King Khan's home. Even back in 2023, two men reportedly barged into SRK's house and stayed there for 8 hours. They had entered at 3 a.m. and were caught at 10.30 a.m.
In a turn of dramatic incidents, a woman got detained by Mumbai Police when she claimed to have an appointment with Bollywood actor, Aditya Roy Kapur. She entered his Bandra house and reportedly was from Dubai. She carried gift packets and then told Aditya's househelp that she had been called by the actor. The maid believed the same and allowed her inside. When Aditya told his maid that he did not know the lady, the woman did not leave. She told Aditya to stay with him forever. Aditya then called the Khar Police who then detained her.
