Sangram Singh reacts to the buzz surrounding his and Payal Rohatgi's marriage

Sangram Singh recently addressed ongoing rumours surrounding his marriage to actress Payal Rohatgi and revealed if there was any truth in them. The couple recently celebrated their third marriage anniversary. However, Payal's resignation from Sangram's charitable foundation left netizens wondering. On the occasion of their anniversary, Sangram Singh responded to the speculation, stating that there was no question of a divorce between them. He added that they have been together for 14 years and there is nothing but love and commitment between them. He was quoted as saying:

"There is no talk of divorce between us. We have been together for 14 years and will always be. I keep all my focus on doing good work. I do not pay attention to these talks of divorce, and I will also request her not to believe in such rumours."

In the same conversation, Sangram Singh addressed Payal Rohatgi's resignation from the charitable foundation, which bears the actor's name. He revealed that it was Payal's decision, and he has respect for her decision. He added that both of them have extremely different approaches to work, and hence, she must have done it for the best. He was quoted as saying:

"This is Payal ji’s decision, and I respect her decision. Both of us have a different approach towards work. In such a situation, whatever Payal ji must have thought, she must have done it for the better. I wouldn't stop her. She is free to make her own decisions. There is no one wrong here. Every person is different"

Sangram Singh's sister, Sunita Kumari, to take over Payal Rohatgi's position as director

Sangram Singh's elder sister, Sunita Kumari, will take over the charge as the new director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation. According to several reports, she will work alongside Sangram to further the foundation's mission. On July 8, 2025, Payal took to her Instagram handle and posted an official document of her resignation. In the document, Payal officially announced her resignation from the position of Director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation, effective immediately, due to personal reasons. Along with it, Payal mentioned how the distance is important for peace. She even tagged the post with a unique hashtag 'Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon'. She wrote:

"Sometimes peace looks like distance. #PayalRohatgi #YogaSeHiHoga #LadkiHoonLadSaktiHoon."
