One of the most dashing and handsome actors of the television industry, Sangram Singh, broke many hearts when he tied the knot. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor walked down the aisle in an arranged marriage set up with a girl named, Gurkiran Kaur. The girl hails from Norway and is a VAT consultant over there. The two of them took the wedding vows on December 25, 2017, in the presence of their friends and families.

Now, the latest news is that the actor is breaking the gender stereotypes and is bidding adieu to his career. Yes, the actor has informed the makers of the show and will be leaving the television industry as for now. And so, his character has been bumped off from the on-going track of the serial. The Times of India could not connect to Sangram but quoted a source as saying, “Three months ago, Sangram got married in Amritsar. It was an arranged marriage. His wife Gurkiran Kaur is a VAT consultant in Norway, so he has decided to move there. The couple will be in Punjab for a few months before they finally relocate to Norway.”

Also, Sangram’s co-star and a dear friend Aly Goni was quoted as saying, “I am going to really miss him. Sangram has many of his family members settled in Norway and he wants to join them in the family business. He is a very good friend and we have already made plans to visit him for New Years.” Announcing his engagement news back then, he shared the following picture with Gurkiran and captioned it, "Yes, it's true. We are getting married on December 25th. The wedding will take place in Amritsar and the engagement and cocktail will happen at Jalandhar. Right from the cocktail party to the haldi, mehendi and sangeet, Sangram and Gurkiran’s wedding took place with proper Punjabi rituals. They had a Gurudwara wedding, where he looked like a dashing groom in a golden sherwani with a pink turban to complement his Punjabi kudi, Gurkiran, who wore a traditional bright pink-coloured lehenga and red chooda. She looked like a perfect Punjabi bride in it along with a royal gold choker set and minimal makeup.
Sangram, no doubt you broke the stereotypes and are migrating to Gurkiran’s place, but all your fans are definitely going to miss seeing you on the small screen!
