Adel Sajan, the son of a billionaire businessman and the founder of the Danube Group, a multi-billion dollar conglomerate based in Dubai, took his father's legacy at a very young age by being inspired by him. The 31-year-old Indian-origin billionaire ended up making waves in the world of business with his skills. Adel Sajan holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Marketing from the American University of Sharjah. Adel's journey in the business world began at the age of 13 when he was learning the ropes in the company’s Deira warehouse. He didn't sit silently even when he was a kid and started to boost his knowledge and skills. Describing his dream as a kid, Adel said:
"One day, I want people to recognize my father as Adel’s dad."
After that, when he was only 16, he took charge of the Al Quoz warehouse, managing the steel division. Adel showcased his entrepreneurial acumen when he was only 19 years old, as he brought success when he was given the responsibility of the 'Chandelier Division' at Danube Buildmart.
Adel started as a director of the Danube group back in 2009 after completing his post-graduation degree, and now he's serving as Group Managing Director of Danube. Under his leadership, the Danube Group has expanded across the world. His potential even brought him the prestigious Gold Award for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Middle East F&B Excellence Awards back in 2024.
While he is the son of a billionaire businessman, Adel had his fair share of hardship, as he had to be scrutinised through the lens of the notions about him being a privileged heir. Well, while he was building Danube Home, in the initial years, he had to face challenges as the retail division remained unprofitable. Adel, who believes in hard work, didn't turn his face from challenges, and rather, he took charge and proved his potential by making the Danube Home and then expanding it across the globe.

Talking about his contribution to his family business, i.e., Danube Group, under Adel's supervision, Danube Properties continued growing and has become a leading developer. Danube Home has become a success, and it has expanded all over the world, including India, Africa, and the Seychelles. Apart from that, Adel launched Danube Sports World, which is a sports complex. Adel also brought new additions to the Danube group through e-learning and e-commerce so that it remains in balance with the rapidly growing world. Adel reportedly also arrived on Shark Tank Dubai to help the pitchers with financial support for their startups, and his journey surely is an inspiration to many.
Just like Adel's professional life has made headlines, his personal life as well, as his wedding screamed extravaganza. Adel got married to Sana Khan in a grand ceremony, and it was a multiple-destination wedding. From celebrity guests to fantasy decor, beautiful fashions, chart-topping music, and whatnot was there.
Reportedly, their wedding had a budget of Rs. 100 crore. Well, Sana and Adel met during a fashion show while being in high school. Six years later, they met again during Ramadan, and something special sparked between them.
