On February 9, 2024, Sania Mirza was spotted at the Mumbai airport as she arrived to take part in an event. For the unversed, this marked her first public appearance after she announced her separation from her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik. The talented athlete was seen donning a pastel blue trench coat, teamed over a beige crop top and brown belle pants. No makeup, open tresses and a pair of classy sunglasses accentuated her look.

After months of speculation about Sania separating her ways from Shoaib, it was finally on January 21, 2024, when the former’s sister, Anam Mirza shared a formal announcement note, confirming her sister’s separation. Taking to her IG handle, she dropped a picture note, that revealed Sania having separated from Shoaib a few months back. Moreover, Anam also emphasised her sister’s need for privacy at this crucial moment of her life.
Well, the speculations between Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza’s broken marriage had been a part of gossip columns for a long time, during which neither of the two ever admitted or dismissed such buzz. Amid such chaos, it was back on January 20, 2024, when Shoaib Malik surprised everyone by sharing pictures of his nikah with Pakistani actress, Sana Javed. The duo could be seen twinning in cream-hued wedding ensembles, as they posed mushily for their wedding.

For the unversed, the ex-couple, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza are blessed with a son, Izhaan. Previously, Pakistani journalist, Naeem Hanif spilled beans on a telephonic conversation he had with the tennis sensation, Sania Mirza. Quoting the latter, Naeem revealed how Sania and Shoaib’s son, Izhaan has been mentally disturbed post his parents’ separation. She revealed how the young lad was bullied in his school over his father’s third marriage, as a result of which he has completely stopped attending school. Moreover, it has also led a concerned mommy, Sania leave Dubai with her son and return to India, since Izhaan didn’t want to stay there.
