The journey of being a mother has its own share of ups and downs! But it is all worthwhile when you hold your little wonder inside the delivery room for the first time. Your life starts revolving around them and they take the top number in your priority list. A mommy has to be on her feet 24*7 and there is no off for her. Sania Mirza and her husband, Shoaib Malik had welcomed their baby boy on October 30, 2018. Sania has fallen in love with the apple of her eye the moment she had felt the first flutter in her tummy. In an interview with the Femina, the tennis player had shared her experience and how overwhelming and different it was. She had said that she feels privileged that she was able to go through the journey of being a mother. However, she had a decently easy pregnancy.

On March 25, 2020, the official Instagram page of Sania's son, Izhaan gave us a glimpse of their unconditional love. The Instagram page which is managed by Sania shared a cute video, wherein we can see her asking Izhaan who is amma's cupcake and the little boy cutely replies to it. The video was captioned as "I’ve got it down ... I know where Mickey is and I definitely know who amma’s cupcake is." Check out the video below:

Sania shares a beautiful bond with her son, Izhaan and the little boy often attends her tennis matches to cheer her up. On January 14, 2020, Sania had made a triumphant return to the court (officially) after a gap of 2.5 years with an opening-round win in women’s doubles at the Hobart International. It was a special moment for Sania as her parents and her son, Izhaan had come to cheer her up. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a winning post. In one of the pictures she had shared, we can see her giving a high-five to her son. Alongside it, she had written, "Today was one of the most special days of my life .. to have my parents and my little baby boy supporting me in my first match after a little less than 2 and a half years .. and to top it off we even WON our first round with my partner @nadiakichenok feel very grateful and thankful for all the msgs, support and love I am receiving. BELIEF!! Takes you places. YES, my baby boy, we did it @izhaan.mirzamalik. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sania had talked about embracing motherhood, and had stated, “A lot has changed after becoming a mother, your life changes, I think the whole focus becomes about the baby and prioritising the baby. Me as a working woman, I obviously want to get back to tennis, so I am trying to prioritise my time. It is the most selfless kind of love I have ever known, and it is the most amazing feeling I have ever had. My life has completely changed for the better.
