Sanjay Dutt Is 'Angry' With Lokesh Kanagaraj For Wasting Him In 'Leo' With A Small Role, 'A Close..'

Sanjay Dutt is one of the most loved actors in the Indian film industry. The actor made his Bollywood debut with the film, Rocky and has since worked in over 160 films, including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Punjabi films. He is the son of Nargis and Sunil Dutt and is well known for his films like Saajan, Sadak, Khalnayak, Munna Bhai MBBS, Agneepath and Dhamaal. The actor was recently in Chennai for an event where he expressed his disappointment over his role in Leo.

Sanjay Dutt revealed he is angry with Lokesh Kanagaraj for his role in Leo

Sanjay Dutt was recently in Chennai with the rest of the cast of KD - The Devil. The actor indulged in a candid interaction with the press and talked about his career and films. During the chat, Sanjay gave a cheeky response when he was asked about his relationship with director, Lokesh Kanagaraj. Sanjay shared that he was angry with Lokesh for the limited role he was given in Leo and stated:

"I am angry at Lokesh because he did not give me a big role. He wasted me."

Sanjay Dutt opened up about his bond with the South Indian stars 

In the same conversation, Sanjay also got candid about his relationship with South Indian actors. Sanjay was asked about his bond with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. To this, Sanjay revealed that both of them were his seniors and he looked up to them to learn from them. He added that he has worked in several movies with Rajinikanth and expressed his delight over working with one of the most legendary actors in the South Indian film industry, Vijay. He was quoted as saying:

"I respect Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan; they are my seniors. I look up to them and learn from them. I have worked with Rajinikanth in multiple movies. He is the most humble person. I also loved working with Thalapathy Vijay."

The actor also revealed that he loved Ajith's work and was a close friend of the actor. Sanjay Dutt shared that he has seen several of Rajinikanth's films and was excited to see Kamal Haasan's Coolie. He also shared that he would soon watch Thug Life. He was quoted as saying:

"I love Ajith, sir. I am a close friend of his. I have watched several Rajini sir's films. I am looking forward to watching Coolie. I will also watch Thug Life for Kamal sir."

Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film, Coolie is one of the most anticipated releases of 2025. The film will release in theatres on August 14, 2025. Coming to KD - The Devil, it stars Dhruva Sarja, Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Shilpa Shetty, and Reeshma Nanaiah.
