Blessed with good genes from both her star parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan was a ‘star in the waiting’ for a long time as she hails from a family with two generations in the entertainment industry. With her debut film, Kedarnath, followed by Simmba, Love Aaj Kal and Coolie No. 1, Sara proved to be a fresh breath of air in the industry. In her every interview, media interaction or social media post, Sara wins everyone's heart over and over again with her opinionated, sassy and unapologetic attitude. Sara loves posting throwback pictures on her social media account, frequently giving glimpses of her childhood and personal life.

Just like Sara Ali Khan, her bua, Saba Ali Khan also loves revisiting good old times, every now and then, and her Instagram profile is filled with unseen throwback pictures from the Pataudi family album. For instance, on April 23, 2021, Saba posted a throwback picture of her adorable nephew, Ibrahim Ali Khan, in which he sported an angry look. In the caption, Saba revealed that she had clicked this picture of Ibrahim. In the caption, Saba asked her followers to guess who it was, "I wonder… Who's this??? Clicked by ME."
A day later, Saba Ali Khan posted a throwback childhood picture of her niece, Sara Ali Khan, and it seems to be the second post of her series, in which she asks her fans to guess who's photo it was. In the framed picture, Sara posed adorably in a pastel-coloured ethnic outfit. Saba loves to frame her loved ones' pictures at her Mumbai home and every now and then, she posts glimpses of the same on her social media handle.
Be it some goofy moments with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, cherishable moments with mommy, Amrita Singh or the proofs that filmygiri runs in her blood with her childhood pictures, Sara Ali Khan often treats her fans with some golden memories from her hidden archives and April 27, 2020, was no different. Dressed in a gorgeous yellow and black lehenga choli with jewellery accentuating her look, Sara had captioned her pictures as "Mere sapnon ki raani hamesha main hi thi." Sara, very cleverly, had given her grandma, Sharmila Tagore’s song, Mere Sapnon Ki Rani a twist, which sounded like Kareena Kapoor Khan's dialogue, 'Main Apni Favourite Hoon'!

More than Sara Ali Khan's inspirational fat-to-fab journey, we love her for being comfortable in her skin and proudly flaunting her throwback days when she was overweight with the same confidence with which she flaunts her bikini-clad body. Sara had once posted a collage, posing in traditional wear, and captioned it as "Some things never change... Literally! Throwback to smaller Sara (in some ways). Same pose, same expression, same sajhna-dhajna, same conviction. I know I look like a creepy kid that could justify fright but kindly ignore the devilish expression and look beyond at my consistent continuity. #flashbackfriday #freakyfriday."
A few months ago, Sara Ali Khan had posted a collage of her childhood picture and one from the promotions of her film, Love Aaj Kal. Posing in a similar way in both the pictures, Sara had captioned the collage as "Ji haan, hum bachpan se hi aise hain." A couple of months ago, Sara had posted childhood pictures, which proved that when it comes to star kids facing the camera, she is the most confident of the lot. Decked up in a stunning lehenga and posing in her signature adaab, Sara had written, "Waiting for my shot since 2000 #apnatimeayega #tbt #sarakadrama."
