Despite the film’s not-so-impressive collection at the box office, it was Sara’s chemistry with South Indian superstar, Dhanush that received a lot of love. From her drool-worthy dance steps on the song, Chaka Chak leading the trending charts on social media to her fashion quotient making all the noise, Sara is no doubt a youth icon. The actress is currently riding high on the professional front, as the lineup of Sara's upcoming film is quite staggering. As per reports, she is working on Meto In Dino, Nakhrewali, Murder Mubarak and The Immortal Ashwatthama.

Sara Ali Khan revealed how people criticised her for the way she sits and speaks

The stunning diva, Sara Ali Khan is actively promoting his upcoming film, Gaslight. In the murder-mystery film, Sara will be seen alongside an impressive star cast that features the likes of Chitrangda Seth, Vikrant Massey, Rahul Dev, Akshay Oberoi and many more. During the ongoing promotion of the film, in an interview with DNA, Sara opened up about how people used to criticise her way of sitting and speaking. The actress admitted that people used to call her 'jhalli' as she never followed societal norms and always prioritised her comfort during public appearances. Sara also revealed that people wanted her to attend finishing school. For the unversed, finishing schools are private training centres that emphasize teaching students cultural and social values and developing their overall personalities. She said:

"People wanted to send me to finishing school. They were like ‘isko baithna nahi aata, bolna nahi aata, kuch bhi bol deti hai, jhalli jaisi jaati hai."

Further, in the same interview, Sara Ali Khan also shared how she never gets conscious about her airport looks. The actress stated that right from the beginning of her career in the film industry, most of the time, she used to be in casual attire, and she was the only actress, who used to be at the airport with wet hair. Sharing her thoughts about the same, Sara added that she has nothing against people, who look stunning at the airport, but for her, it is not something that she should be concerned about.

Not only this, Sara Ali Khan also stated that in recent times, she has seen many celebrities preferring to be at the airport in their wet hair. The actress hilariously stated that other celebs have also liked her approach and are now following in her footsteps. There’s no denying the fact that Sara is one of the first and few actresses, who always aces her casual looks and hardly looks worried about her outfits whenever or wherever she gets papped by the shutterbugs. Talking about Sara’s statement, she said:

"Now, it has become a trend. Now everyone goes to the airport with wet hair. Earlier, everyone used to advise me not to go to the airport without blow-drying my hair. But now, when I do it, everyone else does it too."
