Talk about the best mother-daughter duo in Bollywood, Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s names immediately pop into our minds amongst numerous other names. Amrita, who debuted in the Indian film industry with the 1983 film, Betaab, went on to become one of the most successful actresses in showbiz. She got married to Saif Ali Khan in 1991 and later welcomed two children with him, Sara Ali Khan in 1995, and Ibrahim Ali Khan in 2001. The doting children of Amrita never miss an opportunity to make their parents feel special. On the occasion of Amrita’s birthday, the veteran actress’ daughter, Sara has put all her heart and soul into wishing her mother.

By now, we know that the Bollywood starlet, Sara Ali Khan loves to express herself with her quirky poetry. On the occasion of her mother, Amrita’s 66th birthday, the youngster did the same again. Sara took to her official Instagram account to commemorate her mother’s special day. She uploaded two pictures with Amrita and penned a love-filled appreciation birthday post for her mom. Her poetry can be read as:

“Meri Duniya meri Mommy Jaan, Aap mein bastein mere Praan, My biggest endeavour is to keep your Maan, And try to add to your splendid Aan Baan aur Shaan, Sorry for all the times I make you Hairaan, Doing all that you have isn’t Aasaan, Aur is pyaar ka hai parimann, Your endless mamta, patience and Dyaan, That have made me feel so secure- diya itna Amaan, Ki sapne dekh sakoon of udaan in Aasmaan, Thank you maa.. aur kaise karoon Bayaan? Ki aap hai mera poora Jahaan.”

In the first picture, Sara and Amrita were all smiles as they posed for the lens. While the former was dressed in green-black activewear and was seen holding a clapper board of her film, Murder Mubarak, the yesteryear actress, on the other hand, donned a white-hued kurta, which she paired with a same-coloured dupatta and a classy sunglass. In the next picture, Sara was photographed wearing a classy old saree featuring brown detailing. Her hair was tied into a braid, and she completed her look with a bindi, and watch. Sara was posing with the clapboard of her film, Ae Watan Mere Watan. Meanwhile, Amrita radiated elegance in a white kurta, which she paired with loose-fitted jeans and a multicoloured dupatta.

Sara Ali Khan celebrated her mother, Amrita Singh’s 64th birthday quite differently. On February 9, 2022, the Bollywood starlet shared a series of picture collages on her Instagram profile. The pictures featured both Sara and Amrita sharing similar expressions. Sara's post was a beautiful way to show her love and appreciation for her mother on her special day. She captioned the post as:

“Happy Happy Happy Birthday Mommy. Thank you for always showing me the mirror, but still always motivating me, encouraging me and inspiring me. I promise to always try my hardest to make you happy and proud and I will try every day to imbibe a fraction of the strength, beauty, grace and brilliance you exude.”
