Moreover, the actress often shares anecdotes from her life. And now, she opened up about how she discussed her films with her parents.
In an interview with ETimes, Sara Ali Khan opened up about her career and revealed that she often takes advice from her parents, Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. Talking about the same, the actress stated that both her mother and father encouraged her to develop her own instinct while choosing films. Sara mentioned that her parents often tell her that connecting to characters and the script with all her heart is really important. Elaborating more on it, the actress said:
"I discuss movies with my mother and father. The advice that both of them give me is that ultimately your heart has to connect to the character and the script. That’s a very personal selection process. So, they both always encourage me to develop my own instinct about what films I want to be a part of and which I don’t."

Further, in her interview, Sara Ali Khan talked about her films and revealed she treats every chance as her last chance. The actress stated that she gives a hundred percent to each and every film of hers. Talking about the same, Sara said:
"When I step out to do a movie, I treat every chance like my last chance and give every film my hundred percent."
Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, Sara had opened up about her parents, Saif and Amrita. Talking about the same, the actress revealed the qualities that she has inherited from them. Further, Sara mentioned that while her father is an avid traveller and he loves to live his life in a planned way, her mother likes to be in her own little world. Mentioning how her father, Saif loves to explore the world, Sara had stated:
"My father is a thinker, he is a bit of a planner, he is a traveller and I have inherited that from him. Mum is happy to be on her own and not explore much. My father has the need to explore, travel, eat different kinds of food, and see the whole world."

In an interview with ETimes, Sara had opened up about her film, Love Aaj Kal and revealed her father, Saif's reaction to her performance in the film. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that he wasn't happy with her performance. For the unversed, her father, Saif Ali Khan featured in the first part of the film along with Deepika Padukone, and it managed to break box-office records.
