Fathers are the ordinary man turned into heroes and superheroes with lots of love and kisses. While we might share a bitter-sweet relationship with our daddies, they are the only beings without whom we cannot live. And an exactly similar relationship is shared between actress, Sara Ali Khan and her abba, Saif Ali Khan. Sara is one of those few actresses, who never shies away from speaking her heart out. And her strong wit and bindass attitude is a perfect resemblance of Saif's side of genes. We remember how once in an interview, she had revealed that she is happy that her parents got divorced, instead of sticking together for the sake of their kids. Shockingly, the 23-year-old starlet bonds with her dad not over a cup of coffee and films, but on history and art museums in London.

Today (June 16, 2019) on the occasion of Father's Day, Sara flipped through the old photo albums and shared a series of pictures with her abba, who helped her understand life better. Along with the snaps, she wrote, "Happy Fathers’ Day Abba. Thank you for always being here for me, for being my partner on nerdy holidays, for teaching me how to read, for showing me my first rain and snow, for teaching me how to eat spaghetti and all the while remaining patient, loving and compassionate! #likefatherlikedaughter #daddysgirl #mymainman #handsomestman #partnerincrime". Coming back to Sara and Saif's father-daughter bond, in an interview with The Times of India, Sara had talked about the same. She had shared, "I see my father today and I see my mother today and I think that they are both much happier than they would have been together. Therefore, everyone around them is happier. What I have today is two very comfortable homes as opposed to one uncomfortable home." (Also Read: Kangana Ranaut Spills The Beans On Her Equation With Hrithik Roshan's Sister, Sunaina Roshan)
In another interview with Vogue, Sara had shared the traits that help them bond with each other. She had said, "He’s a lot like me—we’re both readers, we both like history, we’re both travellers. He is 25 years older than me, which isn’t a lot. I am right in between the age gap of Taimur (Saif and Kareena’s son) and my father."
Sara had also shared in an interview with the Mid-Day that daddy, Saif doesn't like discussing films with her daughter, and the reason is just perfect. She had sahred, "He looks at me like I'm a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena [Kapoor], is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often. We talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War. Sometimes, we discuss religion and how different beliefs and social systems came about. We both enjoy culture, traveling, good food, and great conversations."
Saif has also time and again, appreciated Sara for her every big or small achievements. In an interview, he had shared that he has always been proud of her, and had stated, "I was a proud father even when she got into Columbia University and graduated in two years. I'm proud when I see her interacting with the staff at home. She's so well behaved, full credit to her mother (Amrita Singh). Sara's intelligent, well-spoken and charming."
