The popular festival of Raksha Bandhan is observed on Purnima or the full moon day according to the Hindu calendar month of Shravan. And this year, the auspicious occasion falls on August 22, 2021. The literal meaning of this prosperous festival is raksha meaning safety and bandhan meaning bond. On this special occasion, sisters tie a sacred thread on the wrist of their brothers as a gesture and symbol of her unconditional love, care, and trust in him.
Sara Ali Khan's warm bonding with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan is not unknown to the world. Both are their parents' replicas. While Sara Ali Khan resembles her mother, Amrita Singh, Ibrahim looks just like his abba, Saif Ali Khan. Sara takes care of him and adores her little brother just like a mother and no matter how big he becomes, for Sara, he is her little 'Iggy'.

A few minutes back, Sara Ali Khan took to her IG handle to share a funny video with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan and wished him on Raksha Bandhan. In the video, we can see Ibrahim getting irritated with Sara's poor jokes but still the doting sister did not stop herself from irritating him more. Lastly, Ibrahim gave a surprised look as he couldn't believe that she would post the video.
Sharing the video on her Instagram feed, Sara accepted the fact that her jokes embarrassed Ibrahim like anything. Alongside the video, Sara Ali Khan wrote, "Happy Rakhi Iggy Potter. Time to meet the annoying daughter. My jokes embarrass you, full slaughter. But I promise to love you and give you water."

In 2018, Sara Ali Khan had a grand Raksha Bandhan celebration with her brother, Ibrahim, half-brother, Taimur and cousin sister, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Sara had dedicated one post for Ibrahim and had captioned it as "Happy Raksha Bandhan to all brothers and sisters! @iakpataudi I promise to always look out for you and be there for you (even when you don’t want me around) and I hope you continue to boss me around and bully me till you get your way (partly because your way is probably smarter than mine) but mainly because I know you’ll always have my back #happyrakhi #rakshabandhan #bestbrother #dogbrother #alwaysandforever."
The other love-filled post was for the little cute munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan, which she had captioned as “Rakhi celebrations continue with the little munchkin #rakshabandhan #happyrakhi #littlebrother #tinytot.”
