While Television stars and their spectacular daily soaps create an ample amount of buzz among the fans, there lies equal curiosity to know about their personal lives. From their sartorial choices, and vacation places to even their dating lives, die-hard fans often tend to go into overdrive. A recent report spilt the beans of the Bidaai fame, Sara Khan’s dating life and suggested that she will soon make her love relationship official.
For the unversed, Sara Khan was earlier married to Ali Merchant, and their wedding had taken place in 2010 on national television on the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 4. However, unfortunately, things soon fell apart, and they eventually parted ways. Ali and Sara had got divorced in 2011.

A recent report of the ETimes suggested that Sara Khan is dating a pilot, Shantanu Raje, who lives in Thane. A source close to the couple informed the portal about their growing closeness. Sara and Shantanu had first got to know each other through social media and fell madly in love over time. They reportedly have been dating for a year and are very serious about their budding relationship. Her love for Shantanu might be the reason why Sara rejected Shivam Sharma’s proposal inside the reality show, Lock Upp. If the reports are to be believed, Sara would soon make her relationship official with Shantanu. They will also star opposite each other in their upcoming music video.
In one of the episodes of Kangana Ranaut's reality show, Lock Upp, Sara Khan had broken down in tears after her ex-husband, Ali Mercchant recited an old shayari. The one which he used to dedicate to Sara when they were married. As soon as Ali started reciting the shayari, his ex-wife lost her calm and indulged in a war of words with Ali. She had said:
“Why are you doing all this, bringing out old stuff? This is the reason I didn't want to talk to you. Will any family accept me like this? You think about it. I am not comfortable talking to you."

This isn't the first time when Sara Khan got indulged in a fight with her ex-husband, Ali Merchant. For instance, in one of the episodes, the Bidaai actress was having a conversation with her co-contestant, Karanvir Bohra and shared some shocking revelations about her ex-marriage with Ali. Sara had revealed that Ali had cheated on her several times with other women. Sara could be quoted as saying:
"He (Ali Mercchant ) keeps trying all the time and that is annoying. That's when the disrespect comes in. I have given him chances all the time. Everytime I have given him a chance, I have caught him. I have caught each of his lies. In three and half years I have given him 300 chances. He was my first and obviously you just don't let it go. And to come out of it, I took four and half years to move on in my life."
