In a recent interaction with Vogue, Sara Tendulkar opened up on her health condition, indicating her journey with PCOS, which she dealt with as a teenager. The diva mentioned how growing up, she faced consistent issues of acne on her face, and despite trying a number of remedies, expensive treatments and much more. But there were simply no fruitful cure for them. In her words:
“I had PCOS, and growing up, I had a lot of acne and tried so many things, from acids to retinol to lasers.”

Moving forth in the conversation, Sara Tendulkar then revealed how she was able to cure her PCOS, only after bringing in some major changes in her lifestyle. The social media influencer remarked that the root cause for the health disorder was that she lacked in adequate health and fitness. However, it was only after regular weight training, consuming a protein-rich diet and staying hydrated, that she was able to control newer acne breakouts on her face. She explained:
“But what helped me was tackling the root of the problem. I had to change my lifestyle—do a lot of weight training and eat a protein-rich diet. That has helped me deal with my breakouts and prevent new ones. And of course, staying hydrated. If I do end up getting hormonal acne that isn't due to lifestyle, I put on a pimple patch.”
Apart from her identity as the daughter of an eminent cricketer as well as being a millennial influencer, it is Sara Tendulkar’s educational background and highlights that often intrigues everyone. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Anjali Tendulkar into the field of health and medical care, it was in November 2023 when Sara completed her Masters’ in Medical Science from the prestigious University College of London (UCL). Back on November 28, 2023, she had shared a glimpse of her ‘Result Day’, wherein she qualified her medical degree with distinction.
