Indian cricketer, Sarfaraz Khan got secretly married to his ladylove, Romana Zahoor, who is a resident of Shopian, Kashmir. While his fans were eagerly waiting for him to make his debut in Team India's cricket team, Sarfaraz surprised everyone by getting married in a hush-hush manner. Even his fellow cricketers got to know about his marriage after the videos and images from the festivities went viral on social media.
Sarfaraz Khan, who plays for the Delhi Capitals in IPL, stunned everyone with his secretive nature, as he not only kept his love story hidden from everyone but also got married secretly. If reports are to be believed, Sarfaraz had a nikaah ceremony with Romana in Kashmir last week, and the duo got married at the bride's native village. The much-in-love couple stole the limelight with their mushy pictures from their intimate wedding.

For the wedding, Sarfaraz donned a glittery black-hued sherwani with silver embellishments all over it. He completed his look with a matching turban. On the other hand, his bride, Romana opted for a heavily-embroidered red lehenga and paired it with gold jewellery. The bride wore a full-sleeved blouse and added a veil on her head with her sheer dupatta. In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, Sarfaraz can be seen putting a ring on Romana's finger and giving her a peck of love on her forehead.

According to media reports, Sarfaraz Khan met Romana Zahoor for the first time during one of his matches in Delhi. Romana was pursuing her degree in Master of Science while living in Delhi. Interestingly, she was a good friend of the cricketer's cousin, who organised their first meeting. It was love at first sight for Sarfaraz, as he was bowled over by Romana's beauty and pleasing personality. Though Sarfaraz had given his heart to Romana in the first meeting itself, he chose not to express it at that time.

In the initial phase, Sarfaraz and Romana became friends, and as the series of meetings progressed, their friendship blossomed into love. After this, both of them decided to become each other's forever. When Sarfaraz informed his family about his feelings for Romana, they arranged a meeting with Romana's family members regarding the duo's marriage. Luckily, both families gave their consent, and Sarfaraz and Romana got married.
