Sargun Mehta Reacts To The Rumours About Her Pregnancy With Ravi Dubey, 'One Long Pregnancy'

Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey met each other on the sets of the series, 12/24 Karol Bagh, where they fell in love. On Nach Baliye 5, the couple sealed the deal by exchanging rings. Following this, the couple got married in December 2013, and a grand reception party was also hosted, following a lavish Punjabi wedding. For several years, reports have been rife that Sargun might be expecting her first child with Ravi. Time and again, Sargun and Ravi dismissed such buzz, and the same happened again, as recent reports were rife that the couple is all set to welcome their first baby into this world.

Sargun Mehta denies being pregnant with her first child with Ravi Dubey

A report by Telly Creates claimed that Sargun and Ravi were expecting their first child. Well, the duo initially didn't react to the same. Following this, on February 21, 2026, Sargun Mehta took to her social media handle and shared a statement, and straightaway clarified the buzz, claiming that she is not pregnant. In the statement, she wrote that, as it seems, the media knew before even them that they were pregnant for the last two years.

Sargun further mentioned in the statement that this must be one long pregnancy for her, since it has been speculated for the last two years. She further denied any such news while adding that it would take people to dm their team to clarify, even if there's any question about the baseless news around. Sargun denied her pregnancy buzz, while adding:

"How do you know about a pregnancy that Ravi and I are unaware of? STOP IT .. KINDLY."

When reports were rife about Sargun Mehta's pregnancy buzz

A few weeks ago, before the recent buzz, Sargun and Ravi sparked pregnancy rumours when they were spotted outside a hospital following their appearance on the set of Bigg Boss 19 to promote their new show, Juliet Jatt Di. Following this, MoneyControl revealed that Sargun might be expecting her first child with Ravi. To mention, the couple never confirmed any such news. Well, now that the speculation has resurfaced, Sargun came forward with a straight answer: she's not expecting her first child with Ravi at the moment.

Sargun Mehta talked about her family planning

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sargun Mehta earlier talked about her family planning. The actress said that just because they are married, people shouldn't just put this on their shoulders that they should have a baby right away, as there are a whole lot of things in life for them to do. She added that she never meant that those who are pregnant or had their kids are wrong, but as per her, those people surely feel ready, which she isn't.

Sargun added that she is trying to be someone, and she's on a different journey now; thus, she has no plans to have a baby now. She also got irritated when the interviewer asked her when she was planning to have a baby. She cross-questioned those who questioned her about having a baby, as it had been several years since she got married. Sargun could be quoted as saying:

"Janta ka yeh sawal hai baccho ka kya plan hai itne saal ho gaye wait karte karte, mai bhi bada hogya apko dekhte dekhte. But yeh sawal ka tum logo se kya lena dena ya fir janta ko bhi kya lena dena."
