Satish Kaushik's Death: 'Objectionable Drugs' Found At Delhi Famhouse, CCTV Footage To Be Examined

Born on April 13, 1956, Satish Kaushik was an actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He studied at the prestigious National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India. Over the years, he went on to act in many hit films, including Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, and Udta Punjab, among others. He was last seen in the film, Chhatriwali, in 2023 alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Sumeet Vyas, among others.

Reports claim Satish Kaushik's death might not be 'natural'

However, Satish Kaushik left everyone teary-eyed as he left for his heavenly abode, leaving a massive void in the Hindi film industry. For the unversed, the late actor passed away in the wee hours of the morning on March 9, 2023, at the age of 66. Satish reportedly suffered a heart attack while travelling in a car in Delhi. Well, now reports are rife that his death might not be 'natural'.

Police found objectionable medicines at the farmhouse where Satish Kaushik was staying

Days after Satish Kaushik’s shocking demise, reports are doing rounds on the internet that the Delhi police have found a suspect lead about the actor's death. As per the reports, Satish was staying at the farmhouse of his friend, Vikas Malu, during his stay in Delhi. During the investigation, police found packets of ‘objectionable medicine’ from the farmhouse where the actor-director was residing before his death.

As per a report by the news agency, ANI, cops have sent the medicines for examination, and they are now trying to find to whom the drugs belonged to. The report also claimed that the Delhi Police is now examining the CCTV footage at the farmhouse from seven hours before Satish Kaushik's demise. For the unversed, Satish Kaushik celebrated a Holi party at the same farmhouse on March 8, 2023.

Police officials claim Satish Kaushik's death was natural

However, as of now, police officials have revealed that the post-mortem report is normal, and it claimed that Satish Kaushik’s death was due to a cardiac arrest. Citing that nothing suspicious has been found and the cause of the death is normal, the police told ANI:

“According to the post-mortem report, the cause of death was cardiac arrest due to coronary artery blockage which is associated with coronary artery diseases. Death appears to be natural in manner. The viscera has been preserved and photography, videography has been done."

Satish Kaushik got married to his wife, Shashi Kaushik in 1985. After nine years of their marriage, the duo welcomed a baby boy in their lives, whom they named Shanu Kaushik. But, in 1996, Satish and Sashi’s 2-year-old son passed away due to unknown reasons. Later, after years of mourning, the couple decided to opt for surrogacy for their second child, and they were blessed with a baby girl, Vanshika, in 2012. 

For the unversed, Satish Kaushik's last rites were held on March 9, 2023, in Mumbai and were attended by several Bollywood celebrities.
