Did Satish Shah Had Intuition Of His Passing? Called His Friends A Few Hours Before His Death

The 74-year-old Satish Shah's passing left a wound in the Indian entertainment industry. People from Bollywood and television shared their last goodbye notes and how the veteran actor impacted their lives. However, not many know that Satish Shah's death came as a bolt to many, as his friends had an in-depth conversation with him on the day of his death.

Satish Shah had talked with Ratna Pathak 2 hours before his death

In an interview with PTI, JD Majethia revealed that Satish Shah had spoken to Ratna Pathak Shah, who played his on-screen wife in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, just two hours before he passed away. Not only this, Satish Shah even talked with Aatish Kapadia at 11 in the morning on October 25, 2025. He was quoted as saying:

"I couldn’t believe it because he had a chat with Aatish Kapadia at 11 am. He had a chat with Ratna ji at 12:57 pm. And after two hours, we got to know he is no more. The day before yesterday, we were supposed to meet. I was right below his house, but he said he was too tired to meet. I’m about to retire. I told him my family also wanted to meet him. Bohot pyaar karte the betiyon se, very close to my wife."

JD Majethia further shared that Satish Shah had spoken to everyone on the phone, and he told them that he was feeling healthy. It looks as if he had a hint that it was the last few moments of his life.

Not only this, actor, Sachin Pilgaonkar also revealed that he had gotten a text from Satish Shah on the same day. In an interview with ANI, the actor also revealed that his wife, Supriya, visited the late actor three days before his death. Satish Shah played some music and Supriya danced with his wife, Madhu, who recalled how she would dance on cha-cha-cha. He said:

"Satish and I would keep exchanging texts. In fact, I received a message from him at 12:56 pm today, which means he was absolutely fine even at that time. That I’m in shock is an understatement."

Satish Shah underwent a kidney transplant to take care of his ailing wife at the age of 74

For the unversed, Satish Shah, at the age of 74, underwent a kidney transplant earlier this year to take care of his ailing wife, Madhu. Sachin Pilgaonkar revealed that Satish Shah underwent a kidney transplant to extend his wife's life. He added that his wife is also not well as she has been suffering from Alzheimer's. The 74-year-old actor was on dialysis. Sachin was quoted as saying:

"He got a kidney transplant only to extend his wife’s life. Unfortunately, even Madhu isn’t well. She has Alzheimer’s. This year, Satish got his kidney transplanted. He wanted to extend his life so that he could take care of Madhu. He was on dialysis. Earlier, he underwent a bypass surgery, which was successful."
