In the latest development, the FBI shared surveillance snaps of a potential subject in the case of Savannah's mom, Nancy's disappearance. The Today Show, co-anchor, Savannah, a while back, took to her Instagram handle to share snaps of the potential kidnapper. The alleged person is one of the main subjects in Nancy's missing case.

In a major breaking piece, Savannah Guthrie, a while back, took to her Instagram to re-share four pictures of a man wearing gloves and a mask, carrying a backpack, and appearing to tamper with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door, reportedly on the morning of her disappearance. The subject in the frame is arm**, and Savannah, in her note, mentioned that she believes that her mom, Nancy, is alive. Her note read:

"We believe she is still alive. Bring her home. Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900."

Savannah also shared a video of Nancy's potential kidnapper, where the alleged person seemed to have a moustache. A follower, seeing the video, wrote, "Holy wow. How terrifying these images are. Jesus, protect Nancy—please God." The video appears to have been recorded at Nancy's Tucson residence. Savannah, in her caption, mentioned if someone recognised this person, as she believed that her mom was alive.

FBI releases new images in the search for Nancy Guthrie

FBI Director, Kash Patel, in a recent post on X, revealed that over the past eight days, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with their private-sector partners. They have continued to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to various factors, including the removal of recording devices. He mentioned in his note that the clip of the alleged potential kidnapper was recovered from residual data located in backend systems. The FBI director penned:

"Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance."

The FBI earlier revealed that no suspect or any person of interest has yet been arre**ed. For the unversed, Savannah's mom, Nancy, has been missing since February 1, 2026, at noon. The FBI earlier revealed that they were not at all aware of any form of communication that took place between the suspected kidnappers and also the Guthrie family.
