After her second divorce, Neve Campbell found love again in actor and filmmaker, J.J. Field. The two have been together since 2011, but they have not married. The two got blessed with their first child in August 2012. When she appeared on CBS' show, she revealed that they were planning a unique name for their firstborn child. She had said:
"We looked through a lot of books and I liked the idea of a unique name. It’s nice having something special and different and so I wanted something like that for our son."

After six years, Neve Campbell and J.J. Feild decided to complete their family with the arrival of another child. However, this time, they chose to adopt. She named her son Raynor, and in the Instagram announcement picture, the three of them were seen walking a little pram.
In 2022, Neve revealed that from the beginning, she and her partner, J.J. Feild were sure that they would inform their son about his adoption. Neve revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she was sure that she won't tell her son at the age of 21 and let his identity fall apart. She said:
"I read a lot about it. I think back in the day we used to think 'Keep it from them and throw it at them when they're 21 so their entire reality falls apart,' which makes so much sense. Really the guidance that I had was even before they understand the language, talk about their birth mother, talk about their story. Tell them who they are."

Neve Campbell revealed that for her son, Reynor, it wasn't a surprise, and he knows that he was in Cynthia's tummy (his birth mother) who made him, and also had another child with J.J. Feild. Neve revealed that before her son was born, she had asked his birth mother for her picture or a letter about herself to give to the child.
