Seema Sajdeh Credits Ex-Husband, Sohail's Family, Including Salman Khan For Support, 'They Are...'

Seema Sajdeh is a fashion designer and entrepreneur. She is widely known as the ex-wife of Sohail Khan. The couple got married in 1998. Later, in 2022, the couple announced their separation. The duo shares two children, Nirvaan and Yohaan. In a recent interview, Seema shared how her ex-husband’s family supported her during their fights. She mentioned that Salman Khan too stood by her side when she parted ways with Sohail. During the conversation, Seema also revealed her equation with Sohail’s family members.

In a recent interview with Usha Kakade Productions, Seema Sajdeh revealed that her ex-husband, Sohail Khan’s family, including Salman Khan, supported their decision to part ways. She mentioned that they had an amicable divorce after twenty years of marriage. She shared that they married when they were both young. Seema added that although she and Sohail got divorced, he is still the father to her two kids. She was quoted as saying:

"We were both very young when we got married. I was just 22. As we grew older, we grew in different directions. Our thoughts changed. We separated amicably, but only as husband and wife. Till date, we are a family. He is the father of my children, and that can never change. Not just Salman Khan, the entire family was extremely supportive. In fact, Salman once told me, 'You guys may separate or not, but you will always remain the mother of these kids.' That stayed with me."

In the same interview, Seema shared that her ex-husband, Sohail’s family stood by her many times. Seema mentioned that when she and Sohail used to fight, her former in-laws often took her side. She added that they still help her with the kids and called them her family. She called her children 'half Khan' and 'half Sajdeh'. She was quoted as saying:

"The family has stood by me in so many moments. Even when Sohail and I used to fight, they often took my side. They still help me with the kids. Yohan is a teenager now, and if I ever need help dealing with him, I can go to Sohail's sister or brother without any hesitation. They are always there. I may be divorced, but my children are half Khan and half Sajdeh - so through them, this will always be my family."

Further in the interview, Seema shared that when she walked into Sohail’s family as his wife, she felt like she entered the set of Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hain. She mentioned that they never made her feel unwelcome and stayed together. Recalling her recent encounter with Sohail’s mom, Seema revealed that she still calls her mother-in-law. She was quoted as saying:

"When I married into this family, I genuinely felt like I had walked onto the set of Hum Saath Saath Hain. They are always together. They never made me feel unwelcome. I recently ran into Sohail's mother. I still call her my mother-in-law, and she told me, 'Why don't you come and visit us? It's been so long. Please keep coming.'"
