Karan Johar’s Netflix series, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, has been making a lot of noise in the entertainment industry since the release of its second season. Focusing on female friendship and the aspects of their fun yet troubled life, the show features Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday and Nelaam Kothari in lead roles. Apart from being ‘Bollywood wives’, the ladies share a warm bond with each other which is beyond words.
Though the show's new season has opened to mixed reviews, a section of society criticises it for its over-the-top drama. Not only this! Even Seema Sajdeh, who recently got divorced from Salman Khan’s brother, Sohail Khan is being trolled for being a part of the show even after getting separated from her hubby.

In a recent candid conversation with The Indian Express, the stunning cast of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives bared their hearts out. During the discussion, Seema Sajdeh was asked to address the trolls, those who are calling her out for being a part of the show, even after not being a legitimate Bollywood wife. Answering this, the actress gave a befitting reply to the trolls and asked them to change the stereotype. She questioned society if women are only known by their husband’s identity. In her words:
“I didn’t know women were defined by their husbands and their last name. Is that their only identity?”
In one of the segments of the web series, we heard Seema having a heart-to-heart conversation with her 21-year-old son, Nirvaan, about the divorce and her decision to drop Khan from her surname. Seema mentioned that she is still trying to understand that her son will not have the same surname as her. She was quoted as saying:
“A big part of me not moving ahead is you. I know this is a new chapter in my life and I don’t know how it is going to be. It is actually very complicated.”

We often think that the lives of Bollywood wives are all about glitz and glamour. However, the show burst our bubble and showed what was happening behind the camera. From shocking revelations to fun life lessons, the show also inspired many women to deal with the evils of life. In the same interview, Seema also gave a piece of advice to all women who are in their 40s. She said:
“It’s the most liberating and fun time. Don’t shy away from it.”
For the unversed, Seema Sajdeh ended her 24 years of marriage with Sohail Khan in 2022 due to compatibility issues!
