Seema Sajdeh On Co-Parenting Kids With Ex-Husband, Sohail Khan, 'We Come Second, They Come First'

Fashion designer and entrepreneur, Seema Sajdeh was well-known in B-town. However, a fresh wave of attention has come her way ever since she made her reality TV debut with Karan Johar-produced Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. Seema’s marriage and divorce from Salman Khan’s brother, Sohail Khan, has been a talking point throughout the run of the show. Recently, she opened up about how she and her ex-husband were co-parenting their kids, Nirvaan and Yohan.

Seema Kiran Sajdeh recently sat down for an interview with Bollywood Bubble, during which she talked about co-parenting with her ex-husband, Sohail Khan. For the unversed, Seema and Sohail share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. Talking about how she and Sohail are managing to take care of their kids, Seema said:

“They are the byproduct and I believe that both of us, Sohail and me have always tried to do right by our kids. And we have always strived to instil the correct morals and values in them. At the end of the day, they need to know that, whatever happens, both their parents—their mother and father—will always be there for them, no matter what. Their happiness will always be our top priority. No questions asked: we come second; they come first.”

Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan had quite the filmy love story, as she decided to elope with him just 10 days after getting engaged to someone else. Following that impulsive move, the couple got married in 1998 and stayed together for 24 years. Seema and Sohail also had two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan, during that time. 

While Seema and Sohail have always been a part of B-town, they have preferred to keep their relationship on the down low. It was only after she joined Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives that more light was shed on their relationship. And that is when it gradually became clearer that everything wasn’t quite right with Seema and Sohail.

It gradually became evident that Seema was living separately from Sohail. Then, finally, following years of speculations about marital issues, Seema and Sohail officially filed for divorce in 2022. Neither of them has ever publicly discussed what caused their split. 

Instead, Seema and Sohail have done their best to maintain a cordial and friendly relationship for their kids. They are now focused on co-parenting successfully so that their kids continue to enjoy a stable and happy environment. 

Seema Sajdeh has always put her strength as an independent mother on full display

Seema Sajdeh is best known for founding Seema Khan, her eponymous label that has dressed countless Bollywood celebrities. However, the designer’s  first priority has always been her children and putting them first in her life. Throughout her journey, she has always put her strength as an independent mother on full display.

The same was evident during the three seasons of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives as Seema dived headfirst into challenging circumstances to set an example for her sons. And the mother and businesswoman remains committed to raising her sons with strong values.
