Seema Sajdhe Talks About Her Divorce From Sohail Khan, Says, 'I'm Saying Honestly, An Affair Is...'

Seema Sajdeh's personal life grabbed a whole lot of attention during her stint in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. For the unversed, Seema got married to Sohail Khan back in 1998, and they parted ways after 24 years of marital bliss. Seema and Sohail have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. After her divorce from Sohail Khan, Seema found solace in the arms of Vikram Ahuja, to whom she was engaged before she eloped with Sohail. Now, in a recent interview, Seema opened up about her split.

Seema Sajdeh talks about her divorce from Sohail Khan

Seema Sajdeh recently sat for an interview with Janice Sequeira, and talked about her divorce after 24 years of her marital bliss. She shared that when a couple is constantly bickering in a marriage, then, they are not giving their all to their kids, which is needed to be done. She further said that the effect can be serious if the kids continuously witness irritable parents in the house. In Seema's words:

"When you’re in a marriage where you’re constantly bickering and at each other, you’re not giving your 100% to your kids also. They’re losing out. Seeing this irritable parent in the house, the atmosphere is tense, you can literally cut it with a knife because it’s so thick.”

Seema Sajdeh shares that cheating is not a deal breaker for her in a marriage

In the same interview, Seema Sajdeh revealed that cheating is not a deal breaker for her, as she feels that it's only a human feeling, but it depends on what kind of affair it would be. She shared that for her, the deal breaker is the fact that two persons' perspectives about how they are looking at life being in a committed bond. Seema said:

"I’m saying honestly, an affair is not a deal-breaker. We are human. You grow from it. And it also depends on what type of affair it was. Even if you’re thinking about someone, you’ve anyway cheated. The deal-breaker actually is to see how the two of you are going through life. Life is short, live it and be happy. Laughter is the best medicine, and the day you stop laughing together, it’s over.”

Seema Sajdeh added that while life is short, there should be laughter and happiness, and when it stops, then it's the end of it. She remarked that in a marriage, one should be able to reach a point where one doesn't end up hating one's partner. She further remarked that if she was asked about her split during the time it happened, then she would have blamed it all on Sohail. Seema can be quoted as saying:

"You should be able to reach a point where you like that person again. You shouldn’t hate that person… You tend to get so complacent in a marriage. At that time if you’d asked me, I would’ve blamed everything on him."

Seema Sajdeh talked about her bond with Sohail Khan's family after her divorce

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Seema Sajdeh talked about her bond with Sohail Khan's family and revealed that it's something that can't be broken. Seema added that she and Sohail were married for several years, and they have moved on with their lives now, but they have two sons, and it's their family for that matter. She mentioned that she is attached and connected to Sohail's family for life, and she has spent several years in that house with the members, thus, this bond can never be broken. Seema further added that her marriage of 24 years has actually shaped her into the woman she's today.
