"Aamir Khan was getting trained when I was doing shows in theatre. He has worked backstage and has even served water to people. He got trained from scratch. He has reached the top from scratch. But, even after all these years, he has not forgotten his roots. Once, when I visited the Prithvi theatre, he got up from his seat and showed me the same respect as Dharmendra did. He is khandaani. Apparently, he had seen my theatre show, Chitkar, several times when he was working backstage."
