Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan is an extremely spiritual person. Recently, the actor took the blessings of Allah as he performed Umrah in the holy city of Mecca. For those who don't know, Shah Rukh is soon going to make a comeback with his films like Pathaan and Jawaan. The actor had seen a low phase after his series of films didn't work at the box office.
On December 1, 2022, social media was abuzz with pictures of Shah Rukh Khan at Mecca. The actor visited the city after he wrapped up the shoot of his film, Dunki in Saudi Arabia. In the photos, Shah Rukh was surrounded by a bunch of people, and it seemed like he wasn't aware that he was being shot. He was decked up in a traditional white ensemble.

For the unversed, Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. It can be taken at any time of the year. The word Umrah is derived from Arabic, and it means visiting a populated place. Umrah offers an opportunity to Muslims to refresh their faith and seek forgiveness while praying.
Shah Rukh Khan is a Muslim by birth, and he is married to Gauri Khan, who is a Hindu. However, the actor believes and respect all religion. Shah Rukh once revealed that in his home everyone, from Aryan Khan to AbRam Khan offer Namaz, and they all recite Gayatri Mantra together.

Not many know in an old interview with The Times of India, Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his wish to visit the holy city of Mecca. The actor had never visited the place by then. He had also revealed that he wanted to visit the place with his son, Aryan and their daughter, Suhana.
On the work front, Shah Rukh's film, Pathaan will release next year!
