King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is not only a sensation on silver screens but the actor also proves to be excelling his role as a doting father. He might be a superstar to the whole world but like any other parent, his kids are his priority. He has three beautiful children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and AbRam Khan with whom the actor shares a strong bond of friendship. Shah Rukh believes that his children are not his responsibility, but rather are a measure of his capabilities.
The actor has his own set of parenting beliefs. In a conversation from David Letterman’s Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Shah Rukh Khan had spilt details about how close is he to his children. During his chit-chat with David, he had mentioned that he loves his children not because they are his children, but because he has garnered a bond of friendship with them. He had also expressed how wonderful of a feeling it is to have his growing children as his greatest friends. With every passing day, the actor tries to be a better father to his kids. It was not only on this show where the Dilwale actor had spoken about his relationship with his children, as he has mentioned about them in several interviews.
Speaking with The New Indian Express in the year 2015, Shah Rukh Khan had said that, his two children, Suhana and Aryan accuse him of being extra sweet to the little boy, AbRam. Recalling the incident, he said,
“When my other two kids tell me 'Papa you are too sweet to him,' I say 'How do you know I wasn't sweet to you? When you were this age, I was like this with you too.' I am not a strict father. The only difference is that AbRam comes out more often with me because my other two kids were both shy.”

The actor was also questioned about how much has his life changed after AbRam's birth? He is in the limelight a lot more than Aryan or Suhana. To this, Shah Rukh had responded,
“He likes to come out with me, while Aryan and Suhana were very conscious of the crowd. I have found a great friend in AbRam. He is a little mad like me — he jumps around, shouts and plays stupid games. He will cover his face and say: ‘Papa, where is AbRam?’ The innocence of his game is very exciting. With kids I have become gentle, with him I have become even gentler.”
Talking further, Shah Rukh Khan had added,
“My son (Aryan) had car sickness so only once in a while would he come to my shooting. They get scared when people surround my car, and my daughter would start crying. Also, it was not so convenient those days -- there were no good vanity vans and the studios were bad -- so we would avoid."
AbRam has accompanied his father, Shah Rukh Khan on various occasions in the past few years. He was seen greeting fans outside the actor's Mumbai home, Mannat on Eid. He was spotted attending IPL matches with his father, often playing around with Shah Rukh in the stands and field. However, the young champ continues to maintain distance from the paparazzi, and on the other hand, Suhana Khan has gathered a massive fan following on social media. But, Aryan Khan seems to be less of a social media user and keeps his personal life as private as possible.
