Social media bridges the gap between a celebrity and their followers as often celebs interact with their fans through their Twitter or Instagram profiles. The King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is no different when it comes to interacting with his fans through social media. Frequently, Shah Rukh hosts #AskSRK sessions on his Twitter handle, where his fans get a chance to ask him questions related to his work and personal life. With no filter, Shah Rukh answers those questions and quite often, his tweets are dripped in sarcasm, wit, and humour.
To drive away our mid-week blues, Shah Rukh Khan hosted an #AskSRK session on his Twitter handle on March 31, 2021. When one of his followers asked him if he has 'ego' or not, Shah Rukh replied, "Nahi yaar main itna Great hoon mujh mein bilkul ego nahi hai!! Ha ha." Reacting to a fan, who asked him to return on the silver screens soon with a new film, Shah Rukh said, "Really!! That’s a long time even for patience. Jaldi jaldi shooting karta hoon don’t worry." Shah Rukh is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and when a fan asked him, if they will win this year, he has replied, "I hope so. I want to start drinking coffee in that only!"
Shah Rukh Khan was also asked a few questions about his wife, Gauri Khan and their kids, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. When a fan asked him, what Gauri loves about him, Shah Rukh retorted, "That I cook and clean and look after the babies. And I guess being so handsome helps too..." A fan asked, "Sir, you once told on KwK (Koffee With Karan) that you have no friends and you don’t know how to maintain friendships. Would you still say the same?" Shah Rukh replied, "Nahi ab mere bachche mere dost hain." Revealing if he's a strict father to Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, Shah Rukh said, "Children were made for hugging and loving….and for making mistakes, not for reprimand or strictness."
Born and raised in Delhi, Shah Rukh Khan had moved to Mumbai with a dream to rule it one day and he did become its King. A year before his debut in Bollywood, Shah Rukh had married his teenage love, Gauri Chhiber and the couple had permanently moved to Mumbai, where he worked towards making a name for himself in the industry. Shah Rukh had given the sweetest reply and tweeted, "What gift can I give to the biggest gift in my life?"
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's journey to marriage wasn’t a cakewalk and the couple had faced their fair share of struggles on the way. The problems in Shah Rukh and Gauri’s journey had arisen as she hailed from a family of Hindu Brahmins and he was the pathani Muslim guy. It was tough for the couple to convince her parents for an inter-religion union. But eventually, they had given a nod to their relationship. When Gauri had appeared on Koffee With Karan season 1, she was asked about the difference in her and Shah Rukh’s religion. Gauri had said, "Shah Rukh, he doesn't have parents, unfortunately. If they were there, the elderly people in the house, they would have taken care. But, it's nothing like that in our house. It's me who takes charge be it Diwali or Holi or any festival. So that's why influence of my kids would be a lot with the Hindu part of the ... but the thing is that, Aryan is so into Shah Rukh that he would follow his religion, I feel. He would always say 'I am a Muslim'. When he tells this to my mother, she gets, 'what do you mean?'."
Sharing that she respects her husband, Shah Rukh Khan’s religion but that doesn’t mean she would convert, Gauri Khan had continued, "There is a balance, I respect Shah Rukh's religion but that doesn't mean that I would convert and become a Muslim. I don't believe in that. I think everybody is an individual and follow their religion. But, obviously there should be no disrespect. Like Shah Rukh would not disrespect my religion as well."
On the work front, after his last release, Zero in 2018, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Pathan.
