Recently, during an #AskSRK session on X, his father and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, replied to a fan's tweet and shared an update on The Ba***ds of Bollywood Season 2.

Shah Rukh Khan took to his X handle and did one of his well-loved #AskSRK sessions, where he candidly replies to as many of his fans' tweets as he can. One of the fans urged the actor to convey to his son, Aryan Khan, that viewers were eagerly awaiting the second season of his directorial debut show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. SRK gave him a cheeky reply and also shared an update on season 2. He replied:

"It’s very difficult to tell your children what to do. But I am sure he will be working on it."

The Ba***ds of Bollywood, released on Netflix on September 18, 2025. The web series revolves around the protagonist, 'Aasmaan Singh', an outsider trying to make a name for himself in the industry. However, he faces many hurdles in his way, thrown by producers, mafia and the elusive superstar, 'Ajay Talvar'. Lakshay Lalwani plays the role of the protagonist, meanwhile, Bobby Deol stars as 'Ajay Talvar'. Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambaa, Anya Singh, and more also portray significant characters in the show. 

The series became an instant hit among viewers, who lauded the creativity of Aryan Khan's unique storytelling. The plot, along with its twists and turns, was loved by the audience. There has also been anticipation among fans to see how the story continues in the next season after the climax left the show on a major cliffhanger. 

When Aryan Khan talked about the love he has received from the audience

Aryan Khan expressed, in a statement to Netflix, how overwhelmed he was with the love that his debut with The Ba***ds of Bollywood had received from around the world. For the unversed, a few years ago, the debutant director had gone through a tough phase in his life. After weathering through that phase, he has been receiving a lot of love and support from the public after showcasing his talents as a director. Aryan also stated his gratitude to Netflix for providing his show a platform. Aryan said that the story, which was once his, now belongs to the audience. He was quoted as saying:

“The love from around the world has been incredible, with the show trending across countries and filling timelines with reels, memes, and fan theories. What began as my story now truly belongs to the audience, and it’s only because of Netflix that this story could reach homes across the globe. As Jaraj would humbly say…Ab pehechana?”
