Shah Rukh Khan's Wife, Gauri Khan Rents Another Flat At Rs. 1.35 Lakh For Three Years For Her Staff

Gauri Khan is a well-known producer, fashion designer and interior designer. She is married to Shah Rukh Khan, and together, they are parents to three beautiful children. The designer has marvellously balanced her work and personal life. Now, she is all set to give her home, Mannat, the renovation of their dreams and, amid that, has made a heartfelt gesture for her staff.

Gauri Khan rents a Rs. 1.35 lakh apartment

Shah Rukh Khan and his family have temporarily moved out of their residence, Mannat. The family is currently getting some renovations done at their house, for which the family had to shift away. In the meantime, the actor and his family are staying in a luxurious duplex in Mumbai's Pali Hill. And now, his wife, Gauri Khan, has rented another apartment nearby for their staff members.

According to Pinkvilla reports, Gauri Khan has rented a 725-square-foot flat in Pali Hill's Pankaj Society. The apartment includes a hall, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and two washrooms. It is just about 100 metres away from their current temporary residence in the Puja Casa building. The monthly rent of the place will come to a hefty amount of Rs. 1.35 lakh, with a security deposit of Rs 4.05 lakh. This rented flat will be used as an accommodation for the staff.

Gauri Khan has signed an agreement to lease the place for three years, and it includes a five per cent increase in rent each year. According to the publication, the document also showed that the apartment had been rented from Sanjay Kishor Ramani and will be used for staff accommodations until April 2028. Gauri Khan, known for her work in interior design, made this arrangement to ensure their staff continues to stay nearby while Mannat undergoes its transformation.

The Khan family's residence at Puja Casa and Mannat's big renovation

It was earlier in 2025 when Shah Rukh Khan leased two luxury duplex apartments in Puja Casa owned by the Bhagnani family. The new temporary home spans four floors and has a total carpet area of about 10,500 square feet. According to a report by The Indian Express, the family is reportedly paying a jaw-dropping rent of Rs. 24 lakh per month for the two units.

On the other hand, Mannat is being renovated to add two new floors to the estate. The bungalow is a Grade 2-B heritage structure; hence, special permissions were required for any changes to be made, which Shah Rukh Khan got not long before the move. However, it was not easy for the superstar to get permission as once the information went public, a complaint was also filed with the National Green Tribunal, alleging that the renovation was started without proper environmental clearance.

Nonetheless, these hurdles have not made any major impact on the family as the Khan clan continues to stay in style and comfort. Shah Rukh and Gauri have always spoken about their emotional attachment to Mannat. Over the years, they have put a lot of effort and love into making it their dream home.
