Shah Rukh Khan has been dominating all the headlines with his blockbuster movie, Jawan. There's no denying the fact that King Khan left all screaming in the theatres with his masterclass performance in the movie. For those who don't know, Jawan featured several actors and actresses, such as Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and so many others. Now and then, the actors and actresses from the movie have been sharing some unheard anecdotes. And now, SRK's co-star, Lehar Khan, who played the role of 'Kalki' in the movie, shared how she felt after visiting the actor's paradise, Mannat, for the first time.
In a recent interview, Lehar Khan was asked about her experience of visiting Mannat for the first time. To this, the actress walked down memory lane and recalled the first time she visited Shah Rukh's home. Lehar said that the first time she visited Mannat was with her mom, and she saw SRK's home from outside. The actress added that her mom was amazed by seeing a lot of people standing outside Mannat.
Lehar Khan went on to add that when she first went inside Shah Rukh Khan's house, she was thinking about the first visit, and her heart started pounding. Elaborating more on the same, Lehar stated:
"That all was going inside my head and I was like ‘Oh my god, this is the first time I’m taking a left and going inside and not like going from outside. The moment I took a left my heart started pounding like it was really happening. I think I made it."
In the same interview, Lehar Khan was asked about her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan on the Jawan set. The actress shared that King Khan made all of them feel comfortable. For the unversed, in the movie, there is a gang of six girls, and they call Shah Rukh their chief. However, Lehar said that Shah Rukh was their chief. Sharing more details about her experience of working with King Khan, Lehar mentioned that the actor maintains a friendly bond with everyone on the set and never lets anyone feel that he knows more or that he is older. Sharing more details about the same, Lehar stated:
"Shah Rukh Khan made me very comfortable on the set and played a huge role in making us completely his girls like a chief. He’s our chief. I think he made a friendly bond with us on set like off the camera and onscreen also it comes across like that. He was not trying to be like ‘I’m elder than you, I know more, I’m your senior.’ He is just trying to be your good friend. And we would be so comfortable. We finished watching Brahmastra and we came out of the theatre, the sweetest thing he said ‘arey issi ne toh bachaya brahmastra ko, isse bulao.’ It suddenly boosted my morale.”
Earlier in an interview with India Today, Lehar Khan talked about an incident when she was about to give a shot for an emotional scene in Jawan. The actress shared that she was a bit nervous, and Shah Rukh could easily understand that.
Talking about the same, Lehar shared that SRK came and fixed her uneven collar and then calmed her down so that she could give her best shot. Lehar added that Shah Rukh also appreciated her work by saying, "Mashallah, you're a very good actor", which the actress said she would remember forever.
