Television actor, Shaheer Sheikh and his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor, are on cloud nine as they are enjoying one of the most beautiful phases of their life, parenthood. After keeping their pregnancy a secret for quite a few months, the pictures from Ruchikaa's baby shower had stolen our hearts and everyone was waiting for them to welcome their child. Finally, on September 10, 2021, the duo had welcomed a princess into their life. Since then, their fans have been waiting to catch a glimpse of their little one.
On October 19, 2021, the madly-in-love couple, Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor had completed one year of marital bliss. To make the day more special, the doting husband and newbie father had shared a love-filled picture with his wife. In the photo, we could see the Pavitra Rishtra 2 actor clicking a selfie with Ruchikaa and the couple had looked gorgeous while striking a pose. On the other hand, Ruchikaa had reposted the same picture on her IG stories with a heart emoticon.

A day after their wedding anniversary, i.e. on October 20, 2021, Shaheer Sheikh shared a lovely picture with his full family. The picture featured his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor, a few other kids and members of the family. However, what caught our attention was a kid whose face was hidden with a sunflower sticker. Yes, it was none other than, Shaheer and Ruchikaa's one-month-old daughter, Anaya. Alongside the picture, he wrote, ''#fullHouse.”
On September 20, 2021, Shaheer Sheikh had shared a cute throwback picture from his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor's baby shower and the baby bump was pretty much visible in it. Taking to his IG handle, Shaheer had revealed the unique name of his daughter and had captioned the photo as "Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude, need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers. #Anaya."

In an interview with ETimes TV, Shaheer Sheikh had shared his experience of being in the labour room besides Ruchikaa and holding Anaya for the first time. He had said, “When my wife was in labour, doctors were asking me to do so many things. They were asking me to keep a record of weight, time of birth and I could not process things. I was not able to understand what to do and what not to. I was getting so nervous and I was just thinking if everything is going fine.''
Going further in the interview, Shaheer had also opened up on his first time experience of being a father. In his words, ''I was continuously thinking about that. Then suddenly things changed and how you look at life changes. You start feeling aap ki jaan Kisi Aur mein Atki hai… I got that feeling when I first held her in my hands. I felt yeh Meri he jaan hai. Ahh! I can’t really explain in words. The feeling is so new to me and it is still sinking in and I am still trying to figure out what is happening to me because it is all new for me. The feeling is such that it can’t be put together in words."
