According to Pinkvilla reports, a source close to the Farzi team revealed that Shahid has been paid a massive amount of Rs. 45 crores for his upcoming thriller series, Farzi 2. This whopping amount turns out to be the biggest Shahid has ever received for any project to date. The source also revealed that the Farzi actor usually charges Rs. 25 crores to 30 crores per film.

As per Pinkvilla reports, the pre-production of the second season of Farzi will start in December 2025, after the makers of the series, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, wrap up their current project, Rakt Brahmand. In fact, the duo, Raj and Krishna, has already discussed the plot with Shahid Kapoor. The upcoming sequel of the 2023 thriller series, Farzi, will see a rivalry between Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon. Shahid’s upcoming thriller series, Farzi 2, is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026.

Shahid Kapoor’s professional achievements

Shahid Kapoor was born to Indian actor, Pankaj Kapoor and Indian actress, Neelima Azeem. When he was 3 years old, his parents got divorced. Later, his father, Pankaj, married Indian actress, Supriya Pathak. Shahid completed his primary education at Gyan Bharti School, New Delhi. At the age of 10, he moved to Mumbai and joined Rajhans Vidyalaya. Later, he went to Mumbai's Mithibai College.

Shahid also won 3 Filmfare awards for his films, Ishq Vishk, Haider and Udta Punjab.

Now, coming to his personal front, Shahid married Mira Rajput in 2015. Despite having a huge age gap, Mira and Shahid share an awesome bond and are one of the most adorable couples in B-Town. The duo welcomed two children, a daughter, Misha and a son, Zain.
