One of the most awaited episodes of Koffee with Karan season 5 was of heartthrob Shahid Kapoor and his beautiful wifey, Mira Rajput.
All Shahid Kapoor fans were going crazy to see him together with his better half. Moreover, their anxiousness was also to hear Mira’s voice for the first time. While some just loved their mushy PDA on small screen, others thought it was overrated.
In fact, some even slammed the couple for broadcasting arranged marriage and making fun of the age gap that they have.

So, recently in an interview, Shahid very calmly reacted to all those who slammed him for the same. Here's what the actor stated:
“A mainstream star having an arranged marriage is unique. It is not everyday that a Hindi film hero goes and marries someone no one even knows of. I am an actor. Most parts of my life are up for discussion, by default. It won’t stop whether I like it or not. If people cross the line, we do get displeased. But the line itself is wide. We can’t be touchy and say, bhai mere baare mein koi baat nahin karega.”

And when he was further asked about Mira's reaction on all this, the actor said:
“Mira seems pretty chilled out about what’s written. My wife decides what she wants to do, where she wants to go, how she wants to go and who is allowed in the house. It is natural. In fact, that’s how it should be.”
Bollywood’s chocolate Shahid Kapoor walked down the aisle on July 7, 2015 with Mira Rajput, and it was undoubtedly the ‘Bollywood Shaadi of the Year’. The couple became proud parents to a baby girl on August 27, 2016 and they named their munchkin, Misha (which is an amalgamation of their own names).
