Shahid Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, co-starring Kriti Sanon, which is all set to release on February 9, 2024. Ahead of the film's release, the duo spilt some beans about their on-screen and off-screen chemistry.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon opened up about their upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Talking about their off-screen bond, Shahid mentioned how people would often link him to his co-stars due to his good on-screen chemistry with them. The actor said:
"So, I feel that mostly when love stories are made, so this was before I was married, people used to try and create this whole thing ki 'you know this girl and this guy like each other and there is something happening' because natural chemistry is there."

For the unversed, before his marriage to Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor was linked to many actresses, including Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Amrita Rao. While Kareena and Shahid were in a serious relationship and Priyanka never accepted their link-up rumours, Amrita and Shahid confessed to being just friends. Reacting to Shahid's statement, Kriti jokingly mentioned:
"Sometimes something is happening!"
During her stint on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Priyanka Chopra called herself a doormat as she frequently went from relationship to relationship. She also confessed to having dated most of her co-stars and added that she did not have any idea of the kind of relationship she actually wanted in her life. Revealing that she was trying to forcibly fit people into her life, Priyanka added:
“I went from relationship to relationship to relationship. I did not give myself time at all between relationships, till my last one. I always ended up dating the actors that I worked with or the people that I met on my set. I just thought I had an idea of what a relationship should be like, and I kept seeking that and trying to fit the people that came into my life into my idea of that relationship.”

With the success of their film, Ishq Vishk, Shahid collaborated with Amrita Rao on several other films, including Vivah, Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi, Shikhar, among others. The duo’s sizzling on-screen chemistry led to everyone speculate that the duo might be dating one another. Moreover, these reports came afire after Shahid broke up with Kareena. But, in one of his old interviews, the actor addressed such fake rumours and said that they both had known each other for four years (at the time), and people suddenly linked them up.
