The actor is widely loved by his fans for his power-packed performances. With his oh-so-handsome looks, he often blows away the minds of his female fanbase. However, although many people are familiar with his successive hit movies, be it Jab We Met or Kabir Singh, very few know that Shahid used to be a background dancer early in his career. Yes! You read it right. The handsome actor first made his silver screen debut in 2003 as a background dancer and then entered Bollywood the same year with his debut film. Recently, the actor recalled the memory of the past days.
While talking with Radio Nasha, Shahid recalled the memories when he made his screen debut as a background dancer with the song, Le Gayi, from the movie, Dil To Pagal Hai. For the unversed, the movie starred Karisma Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, and Madhuri Dixit. However, Shahid shared that it was really 'nervousal'. The actor revealed that he has no favourite memory of the same, as he was nervous and his hair bounced around so much that he ended up spoiling the shot. Sharing how he was a nervous wreck, Shahid Kapoor shared:
"Dil To Pagal Hai was really nervousal… I have no favourite memories. My hair was bouncing around too much and I was spoiling the shot so I was really nervous. I had just joined Shiamak’s troupe, so I was probably one of the rookies there. I was just nervous all the time. I was a nervous wreck, just hoping I don’t mess things up."
After Karisma Kapoor's song, Le Gayi, Shahid Kapoor worked as a background dancer in the song, Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaaye alongside Aishwarya Rai from the movie, Taal. In the same interview, the actor recalled the memories and shared that it was his life's worst and best day. Sharing why he called it the worst memory, Shahid revealed that no one knew he faced an accident that day as he fell off his motorcycle. Talking about the same, Shahid Kapoor mentioned:
"No one knows this, but that day I met with an accident. I used to ride my motorcycle and I fell off it. So, I remember I reached the set very flustered because I had fallen off and I was like, what just happened with me? And that was the day this happened with me. I’ll always remember it as the worst and the best day of my life at that time.”
