Shahid Kapoor is one of the most amazing actors in B-town. He never shies away from mesmerising his fans with his power-packed performances. For the unversed, in his personal life, Shahid is happily married to the love of his life, Mira Rajput Kapoor. In an interview with Mid-Day, Shahid Kapoor recalled when a mushy picture of him with his then-girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor, went viral, and it took the internet down with storm. During that time, Shahid was only 24 years old and early in his career. Although Shahid denied the authenticity of such pictures in several interviews and press conferences, recently, he opened up about the same.

Recalling the effect of such an incident, Shahid shared that he was destroyed after his kissing picture with Kareena Kapoor surfaced on the internet. The actor shared that as a 24-years old, he felt that his privacy was invaded and he could do nothing to protect it. Sharing that he was in a mess during that time, Shahid mentioned:
"I was destroyed at that time. I was just a 24-year-old kid and I felt my privacy had been invaded and I could do nothing to protect it. I was a mess, I was like, yeh kya ho gaya and what is going on and of course, it affects you a lot. At that age especially, because you don’t even know exactly your own feelings and then you are figuring out how to be with a girl and you are dating and in the middle this happens.”
Further in the interview, Shahid Kapoor called such an incident "an informed devil as opposed to an uninformed devil scenario." The actor shared that he is now more conscious of his actions. Shahid also stated as he is now married and has kids, people are no longer interested in his personal life. Elaborating more on the same, Shahid Kapoor said:
"I think now you are aware that it is 100 percent going to happen. At that time, we were caught off guard by it. So, it is like an informed devil as opposed to an uninformed devil scenario. Also ab toh meri shaadi ho gayi hai, bachche ho gaye hain. Nobody is interested in those things about me. They have other 24-year-olds to focus on."
