The handsome hunk of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor had broken million hearts when he had got married to the Delhi-based, Mira Rajput. She not just gelled beautifully with his glamourous life but also made a permanent place in the hearts of his fans. With time, Mira has managed to create a fanbase of her own and often shares glimpses of her family.
For the unversed, Mira shares a very warm bond with her in-laws, Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak and Neliima Azeem and her brother-in-law, Ishaan Khatter. On December 2, 2021, Neliima had turned a year older, and Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an IG story to wish her. In the photo, we could see the saas-bahu duo posing happily for the selfie, and they had looked super adorable. Atop it, Mira had written:

A few moments back, Shahid Kapoor took to his IG handle and penned a gratitude note for the two women in his life, Neliima and Mira on International Women's Day. Posting an adorable picture of Neliima and Mira, Shahid revealed how they have guided and supported him. His note could be read as:
"These 2 are enough for me to know how much of me and my life is guided supported and dedicated to and by women. And to see them every day doing their thing, is a thing of beauty in itself. Here’s to every woman. Not just today but every day. You all make this world a much better place. Despite us."
During the pandemic, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor with their two adorable kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor had moved to their farmhouse in Punjab. The long-distance made Misha miss her grandmother, Neliima Azeem so much so that the little one had written a 'miss you' note for her on her customised letter writing set. Mira had posted a picture of Misha's letter, which could be read as "Dear Dadi. Missing You. Call When You Are Free. Love Misha." Mira had captioned it as "Love letters". Ishaan had commented on the post, "Dadi is gonna cry if I show her this".

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Neliima Azeem had revealed how Shahid was her pillar of support during her separation with Pankaj Kapur. Talking about the same, she had said:
"After that, I had my own journey which was all about picking myself up and I had my friends and family to support. I had my cousins and my guru Pt. Birju Maharaj. But most of all, I had Shahid. He gave me an insurmountable belief in life. I was young so I was able to do it again. It took time though, it took me about a couple of years, but then I was fine."
On the work front, Shahid will be next seen in Jersey!
