Dance India Dance 2 fame, Shakti Mohan's twin sister, Mukti Mohan, kicked her happily ever after by tying the knot with longtime beau, Kunal Thakur. For the unversed, Mukti Mohan's husband, Kunal Thakur, is a well-known actor, who is famous for his acting chops in films like Kabir Singh and Animal. After leaving fans in awe with their grand wedding pictures, Shakti Mohan penned a heart-melting note for her twin sister.
Sisters are best friends, and bidding them goodbye during vidaai is never easy. And Shakti Mohan is going through it as her sister, Mukti Mohan, got married. The gorgeous dancer and choreographer, Shakti took to her Instagram handle and shared unseen pictures from the wedding festivities. In the first two pictures, we could see the twin sisters hugging each other as they were getting ready.

Shakti also shared glimpses of her mehendi, wherein she put her sister, Mukti's nickname, on her finger tips. Shakti also penned a heartfelt note on how her Golu is married. She wrote:
"My lil Golu is married. It feels like a piece of my heart went with you. I am so happy for you and @whokunalthakur. Congratulations to my better half for finding her perfect match. May your life be blessed with happiness and bliss. I will miss you terribly. My partner in everything."
On December 10, 2023, Mukti took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her grand wedding celebrations. She opted for a blush pink-hued lehenga with a touch of dark pink flowers for her big day. She styled it with a full-sleeved choli with heavy embroidery, and double dupattas. She accessorised her look with a diamond and emerald choker, a long necklace, matching earrings, mathapatti and a nath.
On the other hand, her groom, Kunal, was decked up in an intricately embroidered cream-toned sherwani, and matching turban. Sharing the photos from their wedding, the couple announced that they are ready for their journey forward as husband and wife. Their note can be read as:
"In you, I find my divine connection; with you, my union is destined. Grateful for the blessings bestowed by god, family and friends. Our families are ecstatic and seek your blessings for our journey forward as Husband and Wife."
In another photo, we can see Mukti Mohan posing with her father, who wasn't able to attend his elder daughter, Neeti Mohan's wedding. It was an adorable moment shared between the father-daughter duo. We also spotted a family picture of the entire Mohan family.
For the sangeet ceremony, Mukti opted for a gorgeous blue-hued sequinned lehenga. Her outfit featured a full-sleeved blouse with half-open back detailing. She accessorised her look with a diamond neckpiece and matching earrings. On the other hand, Kunal opted for a black-hued tuxedo with a crisp white shirt underneath and a bow tie.
