Shalini Passi Is The Same Person On-Screen And Off-Screen, 'If I Feel Something, I Do It, I Own It'

The latest season of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives kept viewers entertained for many reasons, but arguably the biggest one was Shalini Passi. The reality TV newcomer, who is a Delhi socialite, an artist, and an art connoisseur, stole the show and fans’ hearts by always being her true and authentic self. However, that’s not to say she didn’t have her doubters. The rest of the cast, in particular, questioned whether Shalini’s behaviour was motivated by a desire for attention or because she had decided to portray a certain character for TV. Recently, Shalini set matters straight revealing her persona on-screen and in real life were the exact same.

Shalini Passi says no one could pull off her personality on the show unless they ‘own’ it and ‘feel’ it

In a recent interview with Zoom, Shalini Passi was asked how she dealt with other cast members alleging that she was seeking attention or putting on an act. Well, the reality TV newcomer has shut down any questions about her on-screen and off-screen persona being different in her signature candid style. She said:

“It’s very simple, you know. If I wanted to wear a Cleopatra outfit, I did. And you can’t wear something like that unless you own it, unless you feel it. So I’m someone who’s like if I feel something, I’ll do it and I’ll own it. Otherwise, it’s not authentic. If I cannot justify it to myself, how will I justify it to the world.”

I want to have this quality where no one can catch me. You know, you pin me down, and then the next moment, I’ve changed. That’s what I want to be.”
