Shalini Passi made a big name for herself after her stint on the reality show, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. However, more than her extravagant lifestyle, it is her down-to-earth and believe-in-your-dreams attitude that made everyone a fan of her. But not many know that Shalini has always been famous. She is a renowned Delhi socialite and philanthropist. Another interesting fact about her is the closeness she shares with Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan.
Recently, in an interview with Barkha Dutt, Shalini Passi talked about Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, and how they know each other. She revealed that her husband, Sanjay, had grown up with Shah Rukh and Gauri. She further praised her husband, Sanjay, and stated that he is extremely good at maintaining relationships. She was quoted as saying:
"Sanjay grew up with them (SRK and Gauri Khan) and he is extremely good with relationships, whereas I am sort of floating. I am very moody. He is great at keeping in touch with people, whereas I am not. I am there for you 100%, but also moody about it."
However, Shalini's equation with Gauri is quite personal. She shared that they are extremely solid people who have made it big in Mumbai. She stated that Gauri has been her strength. Since Shalini got married at a young age, Gauri has been there for her, and said she always spoke her mind. She was the one person she trusted. She was quoted as saying:
"They are very solid people from Delhi, who have made it big in Bombay. But, they have stayed in touch with all their friends which is quite incredible. Gauri has given strength to me. I got married when I was very young and she is someone who always spoke her mind. This was a big thing for me. I know she is coming from good place, I knew I could trust them. What they give me, I knew was 100% genuine."
Earlier, in an interaction with India Today, Shalini shared that Gauri has amazing qualities that keep her grounded. She called Gauri a solid person and she always make it a point to meet her school and college friends whenever she comes to Delhi. Shalini shared:
"Gauri, being from Delhi and with her father being in the army, has this amazing quality of remaining grounded. It’s rare to maintain that in our industry. Gauri is a very solid person, whether it comes to her family or her friends. When she visits Delhi, she always makes it a point to meet her school and college friends and spend time with them. It’s truly a pleasure to know her and the entire family."
Shalini revealed that Gauri Khan called her while she was in Mumbai just before Manish Malhotra's Diwali party, and gave her feedback on her stint on the Netflix reality series, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. Shalini shared that Gauri was genuinely concerned about her stint, but she loved it, and it touched her heart.
