When a sister goes through a tough time, it is her other behna, who can console her and make her fight those difficult times like a boss lady. As for the Shetty sisters, the past few months have been a topsy-turvy one as Shilpa's husband, Raj Kundra, was arrested in connection with the making of adult films. On the other hand, Shamita is also going through a tough phase in the Bigg Boss OTT house.
It is not unknown to anyone that the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT, tests one's patience like anything. Actress, Shamita Shetty has already been giving a tough competition to her co-contestants and has picked up multiple fights in a span of two weeks. However, in between all the ups and downs, a sweet message from her elder sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was enough to make her stronger.

On August 22, 2021, as the whole world celebrated the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Shetty sisters were not able to be together as Shamita is inside the Bigg Boss house. However, her sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, did not forget to dedicate a special message for her to reminiscence their bond. On Sunday's episode of Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita was shown a video message from her sister.
In the message, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was seen talking about how her participation in Bigg Brother UK had tested her patience but she had still kept her calm. The doting sister said, "Big Brother ya Bigg Boss tapak hi jaate hain humari zindagi mein. Pata nahi kya rishta hai. But tum jaanti ho ki waqt padne par hum khud hi ek doorse ke bhai behen ban hi jaate hain."

Shilpa Shetty Kundra further told Shamita Shetty that she should take good care of her health and stay strong and also talked about their mother's health. She added, "Toh mere bhai, apna khayal rakhna, strong rehna. Kyuki agar tum strong ho toh main strong hu, mummy strong hain. Mummy is good, we are all missing you. Sending you lots of love and aise hi khelte rehna.'' After seeing the video, Shamita got emotional.
On April 11, 2021, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had taken to her IG handle to wish Shamita on World Siblings Day. Sharing a Boomerang video, the doting sister had written, "We may not always see eye-to-eye, but we’ll always be connected heart-to-heart. The yin to my yang... Happy Sibling’s Day, @shamitashetty_official Love you, my Tunki! Belated #worldsiblingday, but better late than never."
