As per a Pinkvilla report recently, the buzz is that Sharad Malhotra might walk down the aisle with Ripci Bhatia, next month, in April 2019. The couple might get married in Mumbai itself. Sharad and Ripci are often spotted together and rumours are rife that they might take their relationship to another level.
In a 2018 interview with the TOI, Sharad shared some interesting views about marriage. Speaking about the same, he had stated, “I think I am marriage-phobic. If I have been with someone for two years or seven years, clearly I am not commitment-phobic. I am with the person, I love the person and it's all hunky-dory. In all my relationships, I have had some great moments, it's been fantastic. We have also fought like cats and dogs, but the kind of family I come from, I know where to draw the line.”
He had further added, “In a relationship, you have your good times and then you experience the bump and you don't know how to react. The topic of marriage comes up and you start stepping back and your partner wonders why. I don't blame them; they are right in feeling that way. Like I have said in the past, the fault is probably mine. I always fall short of taking that final step and that's something I need to rectify. I have to really work on that." For the uninitiated, Sharad Malhotra dated his Banoo Main Teri Dulhann co-star, Divyanka Tripathi, for seven long years before the now estranged couple parted their ways in 2015. Post their breakup, Sharad had shared with a media portal, “When you are in love with that person you call him/her your world but when you get separated you start abusing them, this is wrong. If you are in love then express it and if you are not then respect that person. I try my best to not hurt people intentionally. Unintentionally, I have hurt many people many times."
Speaking about his immaturity and breakup with Divyanka, Sharad had once revealed, “There’s not much I can say except that it was a beautiful relationship. But when the word ‘marriage’ popped up, I developed cold feet. It was a long time ago and I was quite immature. One gradually matures with time and experience. Yes, I have made mistakes. As human beings, we all make mistakes. I realise that now but unfortunately, it’s five years down the line. I should have realised it then, but no hard feelings. We have both moved on. She looks very happy and I wish her the very best.”
Post his breakup with Divyanka, Sharad dated Splitsvilla fame, Pooja Bisht. Revealing the same then, to an online portal, Sharad had shared, “We are getting to know each other and have great compatibility. Pooja is undemanding and easy-going. I am not into flings. I am dating her and taking each day as it comes.” Speaking about marriage plans with him, Pooja had remarked, “Like every couple, we too have had ugly fights, but are stable now. That Pooja is a part of this industry has both pros and cons. The advantage is that she understands the timings, erratic schedules and stress an actor has to deal with. The downside is that we end up talking about work whenever we are together.” (Also Read: Sania Mirza's Sister, Anam Mirza Post Divorce Is Dating This Former Indian Cricket Captain's Son)
