The Indian franchise, Shark Tank India 3 of the American show, Shark Tank is one of the most popular business reality shows. The first season of this show was launched back in 2021, followed by the second season that aired in 2023. Both seasons of Shark Tank India garnered much love from the audience, especially from business enthusiasts. For those who don't know, Shark Tank India is a show wherein the business investors, well-known as 'sharks' on the show, decide whether to invest in the companies or products the entrepreneurs present on the show. However, the current season of Shark Tank India has been grabbing a lot of attention since the time it went live.
The recent episode of Shark Tank India 3 went berserk viral, as the 'sharks' remained shocked after welcoming a well-known haircare brand endorsed by the famous actress, Taapsee Pannu as pitchers and ended up making a deal with them. Before the pitchers of this famous haircare brand, Arata met the sharks on the stage, the display featured Taapsee Pannu endorsing the brand.

Seeing this, Co-founder & CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh reacted and wondered how such a big company could come to the show. She said, "Itni badi company, yeh kaise aa sakta hai?" However, Namita Thapar added that they must be on the show for marketing. Namita can be quoted as saying:
"Marketing ke liye, aur kis liye."

Later, the pitchers of the haircare brand, Dhurv Madhok and Dhruv Bhasin talked in detail about their goals and introduced the sharks to their brand. The pitchers stated that their aim is to set their brand as India's best-selling and high-performing hair care brand. Moreover, they asked sharks for Rs. 1 crore for 1.25% equity. To this, Vineeta Singh welcomed them and asked if they came to the show only for marketing, considering their brand is already huge, wherein Taapsee Pannu is the brand ambassador. Vineeta said:
"Your brand is already funded and huge. Taapsee Pannu has been your brand ambassador, so why have you come to Shark Tank? Is it just for marketing because aap deal toh close karne wale ho nahi."
Going further, the pitchers expressed their wish to grow their business and wanted the sharks' experience and smart money. Later, the sharks questioned the pitchers about the products, pricing, and other financial aspects. When asked about how much money they have left, the pitchers revealed that they are going along with the remaining amount of Rs. 50 lakhs in the bank, which shocked Aman Gupta, who further questioned the pitchers about how they could be left with Rs. 50 lakhs after raising Rs. 28 crores. Sharks also told the pitchers that their business was dying. The pitchers shared that they have solid products, but something is undermining their business.

After a lot of conversations, Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar decided to invest in the well-known haircare brand, while other sharks backed out. Vineeta and Namita proposed a non-negotiable deal and offered to invest Rs. 1 crore in the brand with 2 per cent ownership at a valuation of Rs. 50 crore. The pitchers agreed upon the same amount and requested a slightly lowered ownership, which was 1.33 per cent and 0.67 per cent advisory equality, to which the two sharks agreed, and they sealed the deal.
